And today I was accepted to Brunel University in London, my first grad school admission.
Not my first choice of the ones I applied to, but goddamn if that wasn't WRITTEN IN THE STARS.

when i was younger, i could take advantage of the way my system would quickly, easily, and potently pump adrenaline
i was a beast at sports and when i lived a very unfortunate lifestyle it was a serious asset
but apparently that mutation has the downside of forming a mass over time that started interfering with the gland's processes, torpedoing my immune system (i got bad shingles), and screwing with my blood pressure really badly (I've had strokes and heart attacks), among other things
there's also the natural downside of while the adrenal issues made it so i felt stronger, tougher, and more endurant than regular people, i still have human bodily limitations so i have had a litany of fractures, tears, and other associated soft and hard tissue damage over my life. I currently have swollen discs in my back which cause me constant pain because of this kind of shit.
all in all it's a really shitty mutant power

Yeah, America has been very kind to me. And I'm pretty sure I don't want to live my whole like in the UK, probably just grad school and a couple years working so I have some experience on my resume before I come back. I just really want the ability to travel around Europe while I'm youngish, and that UK is primo positioning for that.
Pirates only count in the reduction of global warming if they:
1) Have a parrot
2) Have an eyepatch
3) Have a pegleg
4) Have a flaming beard
Otherwise, they don't act as a buffer against global warming.
