So last night, as I was driving my hour-long trek home from a bar at 2:30 in the morning, I saw a shooting star.

The very next song that came on the radio was London Calling.

And today I was accepted to Brunel University in London, my first grad school admission.

Not my first choice of the ones I applied to, but goddamn if that wasn't WRITTEN IN THE STARS.

VH is landing in philly five days from now. this leaves me with two concerns:

    1) i have to make sure to clean the room he's staying in (it's where my aunt's husband's kids sleep when they come over and i imagine it's a pigpen)
    2) i have to think of some rad pranks to greet him

like basically i have a congenital abnormality of the adrenal glands, like apparently on a CAT scan they're oddly shaped

when i was younger, i could take advantage of the way my system would quickly, easily, and potently pump adrenaline

i was a beast at sports and when i lived a very unfortunate lifestyle it was a serious asset

but apparently that mutation has the downside of forming a mass over time that started interfering with the gland's processes, torpedoing my immune system (i got bad shingles), and screwing with my blood pressure really badly (I've had strokes and heart attacks), among other things

there's also the natural downside of while the adrenal issues made it so i felt stronger, tougher, and more endurant than regular people, i still have human bodily limitations so i have had a litany of fractures, tears, and other associated soft and hard tissue damage over my life. I currently have swollen discs in my back which cause me constant pain because of this kind of shit.

all in all it's a really shitty mutant power

That's the problem, the requested word changed every time. You had 3 chances to break the right vase, or it killed you and you had to replay the first level again.

Yeah, America has been very kind to me. And I'm pretty sure I don't want to live my whole like in the UK, probably just grad school and a couple years working so I have some experience on my resume before I come back. I just really want the ability to travel around Europe while I'm youngish, and that UK is primo positioning for that.

Pirates only count in the reduction of global warming if they:

    1) Have a parrot
    2) Have an eyepatch
    3) Have a pegleg
    4) Have a flaming beard

Otherwise, they don't act as a buffer against global warming.

Yes, but how big was the word bank? There's no way that they were using the entire manual, since Prince of Persia was during the diskette era. It was probably a word bank with at most 200 words. So you just keep a record of your selections on each word that comes up so the 5th time you've gotten Page 32, word 7, you've already eliminated 12 choices.

right - In 2-3 hours of grinding (I have played that first level sooooo many times on so many platforms I can practially do it blindfolded), you should have a near-complete key made.
