Something interesting popped on the release list at EBStop today. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. I have never seen the lists populated by any rumored titles which leads me to believe this is legit. So anyone hear anything else? Release date is late June.

All I will say is this -
If all they did was best aspecs from PS2 and GC put together, wiimote controls, a few extra missions and expanded mercanaries mode, I woul rebuy it at full price.
That's what I thought at first, but the price is listed as 29.99.
PC version is slated for May, but the date has changed about 5 or 6 times so who knows?

You have to admit they can easily be lost in the sea of visual mediocrity that is 3rd Party support for Wii. Call of Duty, Red Steel, Farcry, Splinter Cell, Godfather, etc.

They did announce that Chronicles crap though.
Either way, if they put RE4 on the Wii it would be exactly the same as the Cube version visually, with some asstastic and awkward Wii controls lazily slapped on there so now you have to wiggle your wrist to outrun the boulder trap.
Having to perform several unresponsive gestures during the knife fight would also crank the difficulty and frustration way up while at the same time removing the fun!
I would look forward to it just so I could listen to people tell me how great it is to play the same game for the 10th time but now with WAGGLE.
Your argument falls flat on the possibility of needing to whip the controller behind your head, ala an actual suplex montion to suplex bad guys.
