"Like most others, I was a seeker, a mover, a malcontent, and at times a stupid hell-raiser. I was never idle long enough to do much thinking, but I felt somehow that some of us were making real progress, that we had taken an honest road, and that the best of us would inevitably make it over the top. At the same time, I shared a dark suspicion that the life we were leading was a lost cause, that we were all actors, kidding ourselves along on a senseless odyssey. It was the tension between these two poles - a restless idealism on one hand and a sense of impending doom on the other - that kept me going.
Little Bub's owner put her through physical therapy. Vet's told him she wouldn't be able to move faster than a crawl when she grew up, but now she can run and climb stairs and such.
If the dude makes some money off sharing his awesome unique cat that he's taken super good care of with people, more power to him.
Yeah, if anyone deserves to make money off their pet it's absolutely him. I'm glad she can help pay all her medical bills!
I can just imagine what's going through that otters head.
My guess is "*bump* That's NOT how a waterslide is supposed to end!"

The walkway to the back of the house goes right by the tree. My door is on the side of the house in the basement and I can clearly see the nest from the door window.
So far the bird just sits there when someone walks by. I took a picture of the eggs this morning when the bird wasn't around.

Cause birds tend to get very territorial when eggs are involved.

Otter facepalm may be my favorite thing ever
The babies left a couple weeks ago, but the parents are still hanging out and building a new nest.
Here is a similar gif, set to Pacific Rim Soundtrack. I spent a good 10 minutes laughing at this. And by 10, I don't mean that as hyperbole.

This triggers my extreme fear of stepping on kittens/puppies, I once stepped on my friends puppy and the yelp haunts me to this day
He'd be gnawing the shit out of my shoes the moment I stepped inside, and it wasn't unusual for me to accidentally step on his paws on my way up.
Of course, even if I did, he'd continue gnawing at my feet the entire way up, :P
