Hi everyone! I just got redirected here, I had no idea there was a MOBA thread. Anyway I'm playing SMITE and Infinite Crisis mostly. My IGN is the same as here if you guys want to get together and play sometime.
I still haven't actually played any Smite games with PA folks. I guess i dont like interrupting folks who are already in game or whatever.
Just hit up TDOT in game or on Steam, and he can squeeze you in. People are typically willing to drop out to give another person a chance to play because we're bad and cannot handle the humiliation.

That's gotta be a really tough balancing act to pull off. If she gets good, with her current kit, she's going to be obnoxious as hell. Guessing her ult will be the first thing on the chopping block, if it doesn't get reworked or the cooldown massively increased.
Maybe have the net go wide, and pull everything in it towards her? (But not all the way, only things that are directly hit.) Would give it a excuse to have a longer cooldown. Might be too Ares, but screw Ares.

I agree completely that the 2 and 3 are the abilities most in need of a rework, along with her passive
On the subject of Hel: she is very strong in Assault, but not broken. I think Ra is the better healer class for your team to have rolled -- he can put out both healing and a substantial amount of burst damage from a safe distance, where Hel has to put herself directly in the line of fire. As a result, she also gets fudged up much harder by Weakening Curse than Ra does.
Man Sakari is really, really fun and interesting to play.
She's complex but mostly because in a fight you have to be focusing on your wall placement, stacks, CCing guys and when to ult.
I'm getting pretty solid in lane (seeing a 5 stacked opponent just disappear is incredible) but I'm still completely spazzing out in full on teamfights and fucking up.

Hel is really good in assault
She offers sustain for the team while also doing good AoE damage. A well-played Hel is 100% my favorite teammate in that mode.
But even then holy shit, keeping that team up and going through teamfight after teamfight.
