And we're back! Last night I was so excited. Somebody said I could have their Beardo. Then two minutes later they said they gave him to someone else. </3 ;_;
Everyone ready for toy day? Don't forget to buy your Santa's outfit.
I was
I was woken up early ate Xmas dinner and soon after went back to bed totally missing out on Toy Day
I even had the outfit on and an empty bag for the presents
I only had about half of what the animals wanted this year.
Someone gave me Beardoooooooo. And then he moved almost on top of my holly path, my favorite feature of my town. Womp womp.
I feel your pain. This is why I generally keep myself at 10 villagers. Move ins are just too stressful. Also Mouston is like the Hotel California - you can check out any time you like but you can never leave. Peanut almost escaped this week but I caught her the day before she was due to move. I've since had a surveillance camera installed in her house.
Hello! Sorry to pop in randomly like this, but I have a question or two regarding feng shui. I know that the first post in this thread has a guide on maxing our feng shui, but I keep finding conflicting information online about whether or not Feng Shui is measured in each of your rooms (barring the basement) or just your main room. Also, is there a way of measuring how many feng shui points you get? I think there was some way to know, but I haven't played in a long time so my just be imagining things.
Haha, nope. I'm not entirely sure that my original calculations were correct, but I could have sworn that I got my second 3DS around the same time as I started playing AC:NL.
Meh...
Also, I'm about to head out shopping, but I'll see what I can't do to help with your clothes list.
@Cullen - Ordered a Festivale accessory, picnic skirt, garden tank, beatnik shirt, natty skirt, and ballet outfit. My gate is open in case you want to come pick them up (or anyone wants to visit, really).

@Pablo the Penguin The majority opinion is that feng shui counts in every room except the basement. Part of the reasoning behind this is an assumption that feng shui operates like HHA assessments. So far as I know, there has not been an *official* clarification. Even the Prima guide is ambiguous.
I just fired up my town again after life pulled me away for a couple of months. I was actually really dreading seeing what state of disarray things had fallen into, but oddly enough, things were not that bad. There were a ton of weeds and stray flowers, but to my surprise, no one had moved in or out. That struck me as odd, since I thought moves were supposed to happen at essentially random intervals. What are the odds of going four months with no relocations?

Apparently if you refuse a move out request then you can safely time travel forward any number of days without any move outs (including the old fashioned way of just not playing for a while). So maybe you did that?

After watching this video, some other Animal Crossing videos showed up in my recommended list.
I found the following video quite amusing (and NSFW).
