btw i don't know if you guys know or care but Apex is basically The smash bros tournament

like other fighting games have evo, and now that smash is at evo it's a big deal too

but Apex is their biggest tournament, with over 1000 entrants in melee alone

so i would at least tune into the sm4sh tournament (even if at the end it's gonna be all diddy and sheik and zss imo)

Suddenly let down that there's no event mode where you have to collect fruit vs a bunch of pac-men who can't be defeated because they just loop when they hit the borders

Why are there some Omega stages that you can't play in 8-player and some you can

Why is Final Destination not available in either of them

If you can't play Final Destination in 8-player, shouldn't all Omega stages be locked then

Performance maybe? Final Destination has hella background stuff happening

It's definitely performance related, they cut out stuff like the mirror in wii fit studio if you've got 8 players

How many of her tilts and smashes hit on both sides of her? That seems REALLY useful against a melee range character like Ganondorf

If I had tried to meet it with my UAir I think I would have won out, but I didn't think to try

I think most of them. Neutral, ftilt, fsmash, dsmash, u tilt, fair, nair. Main difficulty is chasin people down.

Fighting a character who actually tries to chase down Ganondorf is weird. There are some of your approach options I really need to try to learn better. The BAir doesn't seem to have much landing lag.

Of course WFT is really light so that part's OK

Lack of follow-up on the FLame Choke is a pain, though. Could have knocked off some stocks way early if I could just reliably nail you with the DTilt
