So I'm gonna get a chance to play Street Fighter V a month from now
Even as a casual fan, I'm pretty excited. I love how fluid the game looks in all the videos I've seen and I'll be real curious to get my hands on it and watch other people play

My friend has the sloppiest DPs in the world, but they work in Capcom games.
I know this, because I watched him try to get a DP assist in Skullgirls for like 5 minutes and that lets you see the motion you used, and he was hitting up back like half the time, and I know he can DP flawlessly in SFIV.

you can order it online super easily for 25-30 bucks
also there are small pockets and contingents of people who are still into it and play it regularly (like me) and the SRK forums and the mvc3 subreddit (which i post on)
my vergil/dante/strider is real good now, i've also learned doom so i can play vergil/doom/strider if i need a beam
then i also have vergil/iron man/strider, spencer/iron man/doom, she-hulk/spencer/iron man or doom
and then my team that is my team and no one else in the world plays, she-hulk/iron man/strider

There are some characters that are underused but there's no reason for the top players to switch to them (real Dr stranges, thor, raccoon, felicia, Hawkeye, Shuma, and viewtiful joe to name a few) and it's a shame cuz those are all super entertaining characters
But it'll take a godlike player to bust in on the top player scene for most people to believe it
Iron Man is also making a small resurgence because his repulsor blast assist is better for firebrand/viper unblockables because NO ONE can escape it (people figured out difficult ways to get out of the apologyman setup somewhat)
I understand Smash less than I understand any other fighting game.
That is to say I have negative knowledge of Smash. Which is a shame because it looks kind of fun maybe?
Anybody up for some PC sf4 this evening? Got four off work so I can probably adjust to a US timetable for a couple of nights at least, provided my connection isn't as garbage as when I played Walt last week.

Game been out for some years without much support because of the licensing issues and most of the high level tech has been figured out.
All things considered those are still good numbers.
