Hey man I went to the control menu and the only things they have listed are "jump and attack"
Nothing about pogoing in there
But the game is clearly meant to be this dress-up mish-mash of Mega Man and DuckTales, so I attempted to pogo the way you would pogo in DuckTales (down+attack while in the air) and it didn't work quickly enough
It still worked, which is what was throwing me off
When I had stopped playing the assault rifle was the answer to everything, and trying to kill things with a fusion rifle or shotgun was a good way to be torn apart
auto rifles got nerfed very early on into Destiny, like early enough that Jeff was still playing and complained about it on the bombcast (because he liked auto rifles)
ArtreusI'm a wizardAnd that looks fucked upRegistered Userregular
I fell off of destiny reeaaaalllly fast.
Like. Super fast. I played the alpha and that got me worried about how the final game would be.
Then I bought it day one cause everyone was so excited about it.
And I just.. didn't like it at all.
The main gameplay mechanics were pretty solid but god I hated how the story worked and how little of it there was and how hard enemies or enemies higher level than you were just... either bullet sponges or you couldn't even damage them at all.

This is a Serious Problem with the leveling up process. Strike bosses seem to be balanced for the endgame weapons at any level and that means they take for god damn ever with low level weapons.
Once you start doing raids and getting weapons from Xur, strike bosses are pretty easy, especially with certain weapons. This just isn't the case playing the main game, and it is a major problem.
The grinding, the grindy grinding is what killed Destiny for me, playing with the likes of @DouglasDanger was tremendously fun but goddamn the repetition
I love that I can leave my PS4 in rest mode, buy something from the store on my phone while I'm at work and then have it download to the console for when I get home
On that note I... bought Need For Speed Rivals just kind of on impulse?
Racing games have always been a super sporadic thing for me but I guess I'm just in that kind of mood right now
Driveclub is pretty damn good at this point. It strikes a nice balance between realistic and arcadey style racing, like Project Gotham.
It's such a shame that the terrible launch state of that game killed it, it never had a chance. If it had been released in the state it is now it would have reviewed much better.
Yeah, everything about Driveclub's release and shit seemed to turn most everyone off of it, but I hear nothing but praise from the few that actually went ahead and picked it up.
If I cared about racing games at all in the slightest, I'd buy it but
The cop shit in most wanted was really, really bad.
I've whined about it a bunch but good god.
When they are chasing you they say the same shit over and over again about how awesome those cool dudes they're chasing must be. "These guys sure are serious!"

Nerfing wouldn't stop me from playing with them though
Fuck pretty much any other weapon in Destiny
Man I love them

Excluding hawkmoon, all the weapons that elude me are actually legendaries.

You know what, Shovel Knight?
That's...that's pretty rad, actually

But not 60$ want
Steam
Oh was NFSR not good? I did a quick look around and it seemed well received
Did I make a boo-boo
Hoping I'll dig it
Oh I dunno, I never played it! I think it was well received except playing online with people wasn't well thought out.
Steam
Steam
Not good enough, EA
Only Burnout will suffice, EA
Not the tattered remnants of it interspersed throughout NFS, EA
That is apparently not what Criterion is making right now

Couldn't stand the way driving felt in Hot Pursuit.
It had the trappings
It didn't have the feel
It was
Not good enough
This was exactly the case
If it feels like the game is fighting me making a turn at speed, I'm going to dislike it
If, like Paradise, helps me to make turns, I am going to love it

Shovel Knight is fucking legit
