Help name this devil at Kill Six Billion Demons dot com.

Is there a way to actually submit name suggestions?

Because for some reason "Sailor Morgan" just popped into my head and I feel it's the kind of thing a drunk Sailor Moon fan would think is hilariously clever.

According to the ronya school of interpreting Bad Machinery, Colm was destined to be the villain here because he is lower class which in Bad Machinery world automatically means you are an awful person.

    no, no

destined not to come away swaggering with Claire sitting on one arm, Linton's fears or not

    20150826.png

the reader is encouraged to sympathize with being pulled out of school by an implied single-parent father with a reactionary ethic, or the flaws in mature/macho ethic that made Colm so intimidating to the mystery boys back during the firestarter arc

    20151008.png

    so Colm's not a villain

he was still going to lose though, because bourgeois morality

Linton might not win either, because he joined the fight, and that's not done. Claire might give him the "this was dumb, you are dumb" response

I would say it's up in the air at the moment

    that's another thing

Allison literally picked a video game metaphor for visually depicting the fight. you win or you lose

it's not the first time, either

(remember, Grandpa Joe is Sonny's Inappropriate Déclassé Relative. Who is weird.)

    or, let's say

My comment didn't immediately show up, but a newspost says a lot of comments need filtering because of spam so... here's hoping?

By the power of the moon!

Nice to see Sailor Moon is still Allison's spirit animal

A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.

K6BD definitely seems like the type of universe where stories have power as long as you believe in them.

SGR/Bad Machinery/Bobbins sometimes puts me in mind of old 80s romantic comedies, where the plucky young male hero works doggedly to 'win' the girl. I mean, John A writes it in a very charming way, but his fondness for that kind of formula grows tiresome for me.

When it comes to fatherly advice, telling your kid to beat up another and their police chief dad is probably on the low-end of good.

    I mean

    to be fair

at the end of the last story with her as a main character, Clair did end up setting fire to something again

despite being shown as sympathetic and cute, she probably is still a pyromaniac

there's only so much sympathy I can have for a person getting off on arson

Making light of a persons psychological issues as well as exposing those issues to anybody who happens to be in earshot in order to put the girl you like down is a really shitty thing to do.

Also as far as we can tell Clair got over her Pyromania or at least found a less dangerous outlet. If she were still setting buildings on fire we'd have heard I think.
