Wish they'd do the FFVII thing and put those on PS4 with cheats and Trophies

The summons are what I remember most from FF8 because so many of them were optional. Going around collecting all those amazing looking summons was one of my favorite and most memorable parts of that game.
Your last line causes me discomfort. It's like a sentence of multiple things I don't care for combined into a single painful thought.

Holy laser artillery strike from a mountain sized castle robot!
Best 8 summon is Doom Train though, cause come on of course it is. He could force status effects on to bosses that are normally immune!

Shit FF8 just had super rad summons all around. Def my overall favorite it terms of summons. There were so many and each new one was so exciting to see for the first time.
Just finished doing all my Fate Episodes except the ones that grant skills, since those cost AP so they'll come later. Some interesting stuff in there. Makes me want to level/uncap the randos occupying the bench to see how their stories resolve.
Almost done with this event. Bought a second copy of Brunnhilde and apparently summoned her enough to get a copy of Ranko. Only 636 more summons to go.
Maaaan. FF7's soundtrack is so dang perfect for it's chunky early 3d aesthetic.
It's one of the reasons I still love that dang game.

Some Fates have made me like characters a lot more than I expected (And vice versa, sorry Not-Rock Howard, your love of fighting everyone is kinda boring)
Magisa in particular I went from being ambivalent about throughout her first two Fates to kind of really liking after her Lv80 Fate

High-level DRK has you juggling MP management (burning it with certain skills and gaining it back with stuff like Siphon Strike).
High-level PLD is, I believe, more about management of your various defensive cooldowns.
Farming up my dope Fire Axes apparently helped
