All right, we are reaching critical mass for the game! I am going to leave signups open for another few hours to give latecomers time to get in here. The DJ was kicking out beats, and everyone was on the dance floor. No one had noticed the fog starting to roll in around the house, or the doors leading outside shutting and locking themselves. Everyone was too busy enjoying themselves.
It was about that time, the power went out. There exclamations from the crowd.
"What the hell was that!?"
"Why is it so cold in here!?"
"Who pushed past me!?"
All fine and noble questions. However, they were quickly overshadowed by the discovery that the DJ had been disemboweled. There were screams of panic as some tried to flee, and others tried to keep them in the room. Surely, the killer was among them and they could detain them and call the police. Pity the phones weren't working...
