The acoustic sounds like a goddamn acoustic. It doesn't sound like some shitty piezo bridge bullshit it sounds like a fucking acoustic. There's a nylon string sound that is basically ass but otherwise really good.
The strat sound is basically just so you can use the tunings and it's still a strat, and it's noiseless so I'll probably use it all the time. I'm used to lace sensors so standard strat pickups can eat a dick. I haven't tried the tele setting because who fucking cares about the tele setting. The humbucker sound is cool, but I need to try it through a motherfucker amp instead of a practise amp. From the sound of it, I wouldn't do a hardcore metal gig with it but it's great for high output rock stuff. It's strat with humbucker rather than a gibson or something.
The tunings bonk! Oh my the tunings! They use pitchshifters so you can still fuck around with the tunings further, so you can go to baritone tuning and then drop the B to A and fucking play SUPER BAD HORSIE. The only shimmer I got was playing the stupidly low notes and then it wasn't noticeable. The only problem is that if you're playing at home with low tunings, you can sometimes hear the string acoustically and it'll clash with the tuning but that just means you need to turn up louder.
I tried the open G tuning, going to whack out a slide later and have at, also dadgad is rockin' and I can go and learn all those eric roche songs.
oh knob it is so good and I am such a good person for owning it. If I win my ebay auction I will soon have TWO
