That if the anti-matter universe characters cross over to the "main" universe and vice versa, they will be doomed to fail because of fate. Although Ultra-man seemed to be kicking Super-man's ass so maybe it only applied to Morrison's story.
Hm... MotW? Cap trying to calm the crowd only to be heckled into slinking away like a dog that was just punished by its master. As for the end, I mean... wow. What a shock. I wish I called
Zola making a Steve clone.
Oh, wait. I did.
Anyway, the fighting was cool. The U.S. loosening its grip from around SHIELD's balls was not.
IIF was neat. Servant girl has a nice smile. Anyway, I laughed at the scene with the weapons at the table. Especially Fat Cobra pushing Tiger's Daughter aside to let Aman sit. But I also thought his reaction to Dog Brother #1's story was hilarious.
I'll retract my comment about Maya a bit. Still. That was really stupid.
Yeah, the latest issue was only about Danny confronting Yu-Ti and pulling everyone else's strings to get everything together.
Also, my diamond wallet sometimes doesn't fit in the back of my pants, because it has too much money in it.

Be fair guys. The first arc had a fight with Hydra in almost every issue. Gun Fu was introduced. A guy was kicked through a train. The pacing and action of this arc just cannot hold a candle to the first one, and it's hard to reconcile when the bar for the series was set so ridiculously high in just the first few issues.
Thor was great, Incredible Herc continues to amaze me how awesome it really is, I thought for sure this was going to be horrible. Countdown....well it's almost over so that's good right?
But you know...even with all the fanfare even though on every board I post people rave and rant about it and post pictures I just can not make myself get Ironfist. I can't take him seriously. Maybe one day I'll end up getting the trades and say damn they were right.
Invincible. Pretty big spoilers, although it should be pretty obvious this was coming to a head. I'm concerned that Invincible is going to develop Walking Dead syndrome.

Tangent: Superman's Reign: I bought this and had no idea what was going on in it. I shouldn't have bought it.
Well, it's issue #1 of a 12 part maxi series. You might not get everything right away.
Hell I didn't even know the series was going to have a backup feature explaining the Tangent Universe, which just sweetened the deal.
Another postive about the book...it features the best Matthew Clark work I've seen in a good while. Crack open some Batman-less Outsiders for an example.
powerless Charlie kicking Black Alice's arse.
"Want some more? 'Cause I got more!"
The last four pages of The Order all the worse for knowing the next issue is the last
Invincible: Enjoyable as always, and love where it's going. I wonder if from the next issue
Mark will be "officially" considered a super villain?
Robin
Okay so I know it's cheesy and no superhero worth his salt would get that distracted but I did love the phone conversation Tim had with Zo's parents while he was in the casino. Especially the bit where you see Violet running across his monitor!
Also the last page reveal. Spoiler unmasked at last!
Captain America was great from start to finish as always
Loved Red Skull's reaction to the news that there's a new Captain America. Shit like that is why he's one of the scariest villains in comics.
I also absolutely adored Bucky's big, goofy grin when Natalia kissed him.
And did anyone else notice Bucky referring to himself as Bucky when fighting Crossbones? "Now come on Buck... Get up... Get up..." is it just me, or is that the first time he's done that?
That fight was awesome, by the way. Especially the part where Crossbones kicks Bucky out the window yelling "And stay dead this time!" only for Bucky to land right on the hood of Natalia's flying car.

... and then
shooting Crossbones repeatedly as he is about to jump out after Cap.
Just starting reading this week so I skipped the rest of the thread, but I had a personal MOTW in Catwoman
Just, like, yesterday, I had a little laugh at the thought of a guy holding a chunk of kryptonite at another, and the dude goes "Uh, what, kryptonite doesn't do anything to me", and the first dude goes "doesn't it?" and just chucks it at two's head and knocks him out
So what does Catwoman do? She gets a Kryptonite ring, Green Lantern laughs at her, and she just kicks him in the head with it

Oh man, really? I just grabbed those scans from the net. I don't have the issue itself, so I don't know what actually happens.
In any case, I love how Ultraman, Owlman, and the like aren't just evil, but also jerks.

Ultraman is terrified of him.

Seems like it's been about six months.

Also picked up the Killing Joke HC. The new coloring is superb.
Hey, I know how you feel. The other day I found $20 on the ground, but I really wanted $25. God damn I got gyped.
Also, my diamond wallet sometimes doesn't fit in the back of my pants, because it has too much money in it.
Kicked through a train!
The occasional loss of Aja's art is another shame.
and in Outsiders, too!
Chuck Dixon i love you
Finally, a likeable Metamorpho (not counting Year One, because that was fun too)

Maybe a Steven Seagal but no Bruce Lee.

Later, in a thaw of Russo-American relations, he makes out with Black Widow. Power Couple of 2008. I'm calling it now.
I love how everyone reacts to, "I have a plan."
Look, you can't say this and then not post a scan of it. It's against the law to tease with such a concept.

I thought so too, but Bucky called her Natalia so I went with that.

Some sort of psychic wavelength going on here
Tiny Titans.
Aw, yeah!
