    sow is correct

    sew is wrong

hash, why the hell would someone reap what they sewed?

The thing about death that frightens AND fascinates me, and I'm guessing most people is that the concept of not existing is so impossible to grasp.

Also, I have, against my better judgement and even though I really shouldn't believe in it, a serious hope reincarnation is real.

    responses in order:

Yes, definitely. Yes and no, I'm agnostic - I think it's nothingness but sometimes that changes. Constantly. No, because I wouldn't care, honestly. Yes, I find Death hot, but I'm not into goth girls and thus would not "bone" her. Yes. Yes, I love Dead Like Me, it was filmed in Vancouver. Never seen pushing daisies. I have no idea what "power" you're talking about. I really liked the idea of the reapers in Dead Like Me, but I haven't come across many ideas of Death - aside from Death in Sandman and Death on Family Guy.

Pushing Daisies is about a man who accidentally brought his childhood sweetheart back from the dead, but he can't ever touch her or she will die again

people randomly break into song whenever they feel like it

also it has Chi McBride being annoyed at things all of the time

When I think about death and not existing anymore, my brain shuts down and I have to reboot. Or I start to panic.

I loved Dead Like Me and was mad they canceled it. I have never seen Pushing Daisies, but it looks good and I think I am going to watch it.

Same exactly. I didn't exist for billions of years before now, but I can't fathom not existing again. (I think that's a mangled sagan quote).

    RE: Death

I do not believe I will exist once death comes and that is just fine by me. My mentality is very simply that if I were to somehow "go on" after death, that only reduces the value of the life I live right now. Since there is nothing after death, I am encouraged to live this life to the fullest and to live it for me, not for want of reward (heaven) or fear of punishment (hell) or even to satisfy the universal judgement or demands of some faceless deity (reincarnation).

Therefore, I am a good person simply because I want to be one, not because God or someone tells me so.

Plus I would hate to keep existing after death. Shit gets boring.

I have completely idealised ideas about the afterlife. Either you get reincarnated as whatever you want or you go to an actual proper heaven that is perfect for you instead of this generalised shit you see in western culture.

I believe in the afterlife but i also believe that Jesus or whoever wouldn't want me to dick around my current life worrying about the next one.... beyond not being a dick to other people anyway.

But heaven would sure be lame if it were full of narcissists.

Ideally though it would be so cool if the afterlife was Planescape. This misleading thread title would be appropriate as a religion there.

Oh I almost know they don't, it just means I don't have to think about that stuff, which is good because I don't find it that interesting but end up thinking about it lots anyway.
