    now you got your corn chips and you got your potato chips. now your potato chips can either be made with oil or they can be kettle cooked, it's an important distinction. as for corn chips they're pretty much all made the same way but the fact of the matter is preparation plays an important role. now some people call tortilla chips their own class but i disagree, i say they're basically corn chips.

    Frito pie with a little sour cream and a cane sugar Dr. Pepper on the side

    blue corn tortilla chips with some guacamole

    plain ol' tater chips with some of that onion dip you get in a bag that comes in a powder

    tortilla chips for plain snackin', though

    now when it comes to tortilla chips you have to ask yourself, am i a plain kind of tortilla chip man, or would i like some flavor in my life. personally i like lime flavored tortilla chips. but if you like yours plain the next question is: am i a dip kinda guy? now for me the answer is yes, but your mileage may vary. there are many different sorts of dips, too. some go with potato chips, some go with corn chips, and some are best with tortilla chips. salsa is a prime example of the latter category. can you imagine eating salsa and potato chips? i sure can't.
