I think the more important stat is the 1 in 10 play as elite... and the little joke that all of them are in swat.
It's pretty funny that the haloscreenshots.com's best of the best (first page) screenshots are 10% elite too. Elite with rocket in mouth, elite getting run over by a chopper, elite (dead) on a toilet, and that decent looking gargoyle elite picture.
og elite repping on xbox live

It IS what I wear. What I've been wearing. Won't always be, though.
And Kor, fuck you. Besides the fact that you don't speak for everyone, I couldn't care less what you think.

So this has to be the best picture of Rat, ever.
I snagged this from a really laggy game we played on Cold Storage Doubles.
We watched each others videos, both having very different results. On mine, Rat lunged about a good 10ft to melee someone over my head. This was the result.

Just switched from the elite I've been rocking near non-stop since the begining. Damn, still at least EVA is rarely used, same for EOD which is what my body/shoulders is rocking I believe (might be security).
Yeah, I switched to Spartan recently for some reason. I just like the way that the Scout helmet/shoulders work with the really blocky EOD chest. I wish you could use the katana as a separate body item otherwise I'd be rocking that as well.
Of course, it makes me Mr Unoriginal now.

I like to think my spartan combo is original, but uh I found out when I was rolling with it that Dixon is wearing the exact same thing. But hell if I'm the one who's changing.
So yeah, I pulled up my recent posts on Bungie.net, and went to select the optimatch forum for the dropdown... one of the forums was for "Halo: Reach forum"
Maybe an evolution of that Jackson thing that's been being worked on for years? or the movie. Because I can't imagine that it would be a new Halo game by Bungie this soon.
These aren't really great guesses, but whatever it is I actually don't want another full fps Halo game on the 360. Wait until the 720 damn it. Have someting good for launch.

So whats the assumption? Another Halo game based around the fall of Reach?
I know bungie has never pitted you against humans, but man, I'd love a game playing as 4 Elites, rolling thru Reach, having shit like Spartans and Scorpions as your Hunters and Wraiths.
Some dude is posting on GAF saying it's a prequel to Halo 1.
I just want my Arbiter and Half Jaw's Wild Adventure game, damnit

I'm actually very much okay with that.
I just hope we don't play as humans. Because playing as a faction you know is supposed to lose, just never works out right. You'll have some epic boss battle at the end, but in the end, despite your efforts, you're still fucked, so what was the point.
Playing as the Covies would be so much better.
My fanboy is setting in, and I'm picturing something closer to ODST. Having a squad of an Elite with Plasma Rifles and Needlers, a Grunt with Plasma Pistols and Fuel Rods. A Jackal with the Sniper and Carbines, and the Hunter, with a fucking fist of doom.
I imagine this is Frankie's MS Halo project, rather than a Bungie thing, but then why would there be a reference to it on bnet? I'm not even going to think too hard about it until next week.
I have wanted something set around the original Spartan program, though, before they got it all sorted out. A bunch of people who are in no way as collected as the Chief - people who were kidnapped and experimented on and watched their friends rip their own fucking limbs off because the suit was too sensitive.

How long in Bungie history has the Spartan armor provided the regenerating shields? I was pretty sure the Mark IV had it, and I know Halo Wars done fucked up that whole thing.

Whilst being a covie would be fun. I don't really see your 'what was the point', it would be great. It'd serve to hammer home that the humans are actually losing the war rather badly. It’s a series of pyrrhic victories culminating in your eventual death losing the battle against insurmountable odds. The point isn’t whether you win, it’s whether you try. It's one of humanities defining characteristics. Plus given the secular themes present it’d be an interesting albeit inspiring take upon it.

I'm just saying any time I've ever played a game where you know you're on the losing team, I've never felt a sense of accomplishment after beating it.
Halo Wars is a great example. We know the Humans aren't winning the war, so even though you get to watch Forge pull shit out of his ass to beat the Arbiter, and then sacrifice himself to blow up a sun, its all bitter sweet, because it had zero impact on the story thereafter. They went away, fought their own battle and "won" which had no impact on the rest of humanity in any way.
I feel the same would be played out if I was playing as Humans on Reach. I know I'm going to lose the planet, no matter what I do. I might fight off some huge invading force, so that X more civilians can escape, and maybe that makes me a hero, but I really doubt I'll feel like a badass for only prolonging my destruction.
Because even though it doesn't end with the nuke scene, it could have. And I would havegone away content.
I mean it might just be me, but heroes live short violent lives. It’s what immortalises them. And it’s (arguably) one of the greatest acts of – not patriotism – but sacrifice. You’re giving up everything to protect those you love and what you believe in. Even something as thunderously stupid as the Charge of the Light brigade lights a little fire in you that makes you think fuck yeah. Despite realising its sheer ridiculousness.

I think you missed something critical there. Making a screenshot a print that you can actually own, at a retarded price.
And my color is way at the bottom.
I AM a snowflake.
I'm pretty sure that it was calculating what people actually wear and not what they have.
Not to mention you can't just take credit for playing elite once in a blue moon. Its all or nothing, and those of us under all consider you nothing.
