It looks like the artist did a pretty good job aside from the proportions and looking like the face is stretched out. Looks like he has George Lucas neck.
I've almost run over longboarders a few times. I work 3rd shift driving around the part of town at the base of a mountain, so we have very hilly streets. 2am without anything reflective or any lights on you is a good time to roll around the streets, kids!
One of our guys ran over someone's longboard once. The skater had jumped off it or something and was walking down to get it out of the middle of the street, and my coworker didn't see it and *crunch*, goodbye longboard. The skater was all mad, my coworker shrugged and left, then we all laughed about it at the office.
Longboarders seem kinda like smug assholes to me. Is that just me? I don't even really think they're smug assholes, it's just every time I see some dude on a longboard, I feel like I should think he's a douche bag.
I've ridden a Goddess Sector 9 for the last two years, and I love her dearly. Her name is Elizabeth, and she has lasted over 100 miles.
Unfortunately, Elizabeth is currently laid up because of broken bearings. I'll replace them shortly, but right now I just don't have the money to take the love of my life off of life support.

I love Portland. Longboarders have the same rights as cars, bikes AND pedestrians, in all of the "Congrats on the right of way, fucker" sort of way.
I don't get all the hate with long boards. Yeah, a lot of douche bags get in peoples way on them, and they've basically become a fashion accessory, but if you find some big ass hills with barely any people or cars around, that shit is fun.
The key is to not be a fag and actually use the damn thing.
That being said, I still prefer normal skateboarding most of the time.

But how do you stop, other than going all the way to the bottom of the hill? What if there's like a big car wreck in front of you that you can't go around?
