Umm, I like the hori FS3. It's a good stick for $50. If you don't want a stick just use the keyboard.

You mean you want a controller with analog sticks? The best one imo is the 360 pad for windows, however that's terrible for fighting games. If you want an arcade stick that's not too huge the hori fs3 is a decent size at a decent price, lap holding is optional. If you want a game pad that's good for fighting games you're a terrible person.
edit: just to clarify, I don't say the 360 controller is terrible for fighting games because I think all controllers are terrible for fighting games. It's bad because the D-pad is bad and you have to mod it or use the analog stick. If you're set on getting a controller, get one of the sf4 pads or a usb saturn pad.
