Oh [strike]santee[/strike] mosesee, please tell me you got it... the anticipation!

life's a game that you're bound to lose / like using a hammer to pound in screws
fuck up once and you break your thumb / if you're happy at all then you're god damn dumb
that's right we're on a fucked up cruise / God is dead but at least we have booze
bad things happen, no one knows why / the sun burns out and everyone dies
I had a dream last night that my SS got his gift and posted about it. I woke up in a half-sleeping state and tried to fall back asleep so I could read the post. True story.

Dear Secret Menorah:
I didn't get a note for the package I checked in the mail box like three times to make sure I didn't miss it when I noticed this one said "OPEN FIRST" on it.
Hopefully the mail carrier will deliver it today. If not, I will give someone at the post office a stern begging-for-my-package to!!
Santa, I got your gift this weekend. Unfortunately, I misplaced my SD card which had the gift photos on it. I'll rummage around tonight after work to find it.
I think the question is, did you like the second part of the gift more or less than Bomberman: Act Zero?
Was the gift a DS with a copy of Bomberman: Deadly Sulfur: Act Zero Two y/n?
There is no bad Bomberman on the DS since none of them are edgy dumb shit.
Then, a poem!!
My camera flash was too bright, so here's the poem:
So there was I
working all day
When a mysterious message
came my way!
"Dear Stormwatcher
Your Santee is here
Your most sacred mission
Is to fill her with cheer!"
Full of trepidation
I read her name
LewieP's mom it is!
It made me happy right away!
But what to send her
From these tropical lands?
Fresh fruit is not allowed! And I can't mail cans!
I thought of a game
And perfumed stuff
And lots of chocolate
I hope that's enough!
A handmade necklace
Delicious cashew nuts
And last, but not least
This humble rhyming note!
For you see, she's a lady
Most beloved
I hope I made her happy
With all of the above
I packed it with Arika
My so awesome dog
We wish you all a Merry Christmas
And a whole lotta love!
The only people to have ever written me a poem have been my children!! Thank you!!!
Thank you, Stormwatcher, these are very, very lovely presents! Lewie's sister has made me take the necklaces off - after she told me off for opening my presents!

My wife informed me she found something mysterious on our doorstep... from Canada!
...it was a notice from the post office saying they're holding my Canadian gift hostage until I get over there and sign for it. Since I can't do that till tomorrow and my wife wants to be there when I open it, it'll be tomorrow night till I can get into it.
So Canadian Santa, rest assured that your gift has (almost) arrived (presumably) safe and sound! (Assuming I got the right forum's Santa.)
Thank you, Stormwatcher, these are very, very lovely presents! Lewie's sister has made me take the necklaces off - after she told me off for opening my presents!
Oh, YAY! I'm so glad the box 1) Got there 2) in time for Xmas, 3) all in one piece and 4) without any customs shenanigans.
Well, as I said, I got you the most traditional "normal" chocolates, the ones I've been eating my whole life. Bis is really delicious (if it's still crunchy) and you just can't eat only one. The yellow bomboms are also amazing, and Prestígio is chocolate with coconut!
Ah, each bar of soap is made from one or more kinds of Brazilian fruit, and they have labels in English on the back of the bar, explaining the effect of each bar.
My wife sighed and commented "If only I was getting a box like this for Christmas" when I bought the soap with her!
I'm also glad you liked the poem and I hope you liked my dog's happy face too.
I'll take free Hanukkah gifts, I am Jewish after all. Although, my parents raised me without any kind of religious overtones with the intent I could figure that all out later when I was older. So... I never had my bar-mitzvah, so technically I never became a man. I'm a 24 year old boy.

WARNING! SECRET OLIVE OIL GIFT JOY BELOW
Yoshi is still out looking for the correct castle, after his last screw-up.
This time I brought in an expert.
Carefully opening the box.
The letter inside claims that each gift is "Mario-related". But I'm no fool.
Scanning each gift for traces of "Twilight" merchandise.
None detected. Time to unwrap.
All right! It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia seasons 1-4. I've been meaning to watch this for a while, and I've needed something to prevent me from getting actual work done.
The Sandlot. I remember watching this movie a million times when I was a kid, but I couldn't tell you a thing about it now. Childhood memories, ahoy!
Comic books! Ahem. Graphic novels. I used to read old Spider-Man comics when I was a kid, and these days I read comics of the weeaboo variety, but aside from that I'm totally in the dark. These will boost my nerd cred!!
My buddy Robert here spent about 20 minutes trying to get the package for this next one open, but he finally just blasted it with his laser.
Neat! Doodads are my favorite.
The letter tenously connected each of the other gifts to Mario. You silly.
Thanks! Happy dreidel!! Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see your forum name indicated anywhere. Who are you?!
Fables is so awesome. Your Santa has excellent taste.
I flipped through it real quick, and some of this artwork (from the original covers?) is amazing.

I've been proxied, the anticipation is killing me! So much so that I MS Painted Bob over there to be more in the spirit of the season. Santa hats are so yesterday.
Great Moses gift thread, I need your giftly advice. My Santee from another, less ethnicly oriented winter celebration, has taken leave of their provided address earlier than expected and will not return until a likely post-christmas date. Through superior stalking I've found where they went, so I can send their gifts to their current location, but this is a) somewhat creepy, and b) potential awkward for them as they have to explain why a stranger stalked them to an undisclosed location to give them random things.
GIFT GET! Quite unexpectedly while I was in the middle of a notestreak Battle of the Bands in Rock Band 2. Fucking "Bodhisattva". Apologies for the low-light, conservation asks that I use one light bulb in this room.
UPS drops off a package. Oooh the suspense!
Sadly, Rosie and Ruben, my pet cockatiels, are fast asleep and I don't want them to get angry and fuck me up. So instead we get one last year's SS gift, Ultros my pet Cthulhu.
Alrighty, let's see where this came from...
...what? Oh wow. Straight from PA HQ. If it is Khoo, I expect porn and booze. So let's dig in, Ultros!
BOOKS! Wait, Khoo doesn't read books, does he?
I like books and these are by one Peter Bowler. I feel I could be a superior person with more words in my dwindling vocabulary.
Oh and it has a sequel!
And who doesn't like to give someone a good tongue-lashing with foul language?
Well, I'm getting non-Khoo vibes. Surely there's something around here that would indicate if it is or isn't...
Wait, what's this?
Wow! All three come with Jerry's trademark signature! Thanks Jerry! I will eagerly delve into these books immediately!
EDIT: Wow, PhotoFucker switched the tags around on me. Fixed.

What is a Santa to do?
Just tack on a note to the end advising them to be more careful with their personal information in the future, and remind them that you're always watching and rarely wear pants.

So, I showed my wife this post just now, and mentioned how much I want these books. She proceeds to walk over to our bookcase and pull out the first two and hand them over to me. I must have walked past them all these years without ever seeing them.

One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but cannot be taken away unless it is surrendered.
First, as mentioned before, my Santa got me Gratuitous Space Battles and Torchlight - he could have stopped here and I would have been happy. But no, more had to be sent.
Here's the second part:
Now, in the note sent along with the package, humorously enough he admits being really busy at work and being unable to do an exhaustive amount of stalking, so he guessed as to my likes. With Torchlight, I had posted in the thread how I was planning on getting it because I love Diablo 2, I guess he missed that but got me the game anyway. Awesome.
With It's Always Sunny, he mentions he's not sure if I watch the show, but that I would probably like it. There you go with that intuition again, I love it's always sunny and post in the thread's the forums had about it. Oddly enough I never got around to picking up any of the DVD's, and now I have the first 3 seasons. Awesome.
And finally, World War Z, your fear (besides zombies) is valid, I already own, and love this book. Thank you, nonetheless. I will find a use for this second copy.
