So some nutter in the U.K., Dr. Brett Mills, has recently published an article claiming that animals have a right to privacy and that nature documentaries violate that right. The kicker? Animals don't care about privacy. When I watched that otter video in that other thread, I was like "Wow, I'd feel really awkward having a bunch of people videotaping me while I play with rocks." But those otters didn't feel awkward at all.
It's like, you can't video tape me in my home or through my windows, but once I go outside, I don't have an expectation of privacy
