What in fuck, obviously there are reasons that I am not aware of, but why is smoking still legal? I mean they're trying to help people quit, that's cool. but it's very obviously a fucking horrible thing and in no way beneficial except for the tobacco companies selling the prodcuts.

So, educate me, guys, howcome government don't just say "this shit is now illegal you can't make it anymore or sell it. We acknowledge that you have an addiction and you can still buy patches and gum etc."

I don't intend to be malicious towards any smokers, i'm just intersted as to why this hasn't/can't happen. It seems really logical to me.

    Smoking in public places is illegal in Britain now.

    So really there is no reason to outlaw it, because it really is now only affecting you in your own home.

    Man, fuck you. Smoking is in every way fucking stupid and a negative thing. I have no problem with you wanting to smoke, I just see it as a waste of resources. Why have people taking up a hospital room due to smoking related issues when you could be using those resources for mor eimportant shit we can't stop.

    Obviously smoker related health issues don't totaly flood out hospitals, but I just see it as something we can stop. "Outlawing everything which is fun" is not what I was trying to convey.
