It's great to have the forum back, but I have to admit that I was kinda looking forward to having temporary forums where we all made up new accounts. I would've enjoyed posting as 'Probably Not Cardboard Tube' for a little while.
I would have enjoyed seeing what name you got when the permanent forums came online.

Over here public transportation is tolerable. Everyone had a healthy sense of shame and stares resolutely at the floor avoiding eye contact. Conversation is taboo.

I'd rather meet someone through a mutual friend or some sort of campus group or through a class. Then we've at least got something in common right away. I just don't like the set-up of these sites. Realistically, everyone has the preconception that you are meeting someone to date, not that you are dating someone you've met.

Now I'm picturing Winky's heart on a pedestal surrounded by guards patrolling. A million lasers that will set off an alarm flash through the air. Winky's girlfriend descends slowly, held by only a single wire. She deftly dodges the lasers and plucks the heart off the pedestal. AND CRUSHES IT. Then makes out with girls.
