So I have a lab partner in class that always want to straight up clone other people's work. Usually, sharing bits of source code for programming assignments happen. Also sometimes several groups sit down at the same place and cooperate on an assignment. This is not really frowned upon and is pretty accepted.
But the university still wants separate hand ins for every group and this should not be so difficult to understand. He often gets a bit of source or measurements from other groups and wants to turn it in right away as ours. And I tell him that as much as I'd like to take an early evening they will know because this is not elementary school anymore.
Now during a stint where I was basically away from school for a few weeks it seems like he turned in an assignment as ours without my knowledge, and I am reading the feedback on it and it says "The answers are identical to name and name's results".
Yay! My friend has confirmed my battery is dying and needs to be replaced so I just need to get an appropriate car battery and he can do it for me for free!
