He's not a complete noob, he rarely used that strategy, and he was fully aware of its flaws.
It was fucking hilarious when it worked, though.
Oh, it was just a hilarious cheese that only worked on total noobs? OK.
Still, though, you might as well build a hero. Your first hero summon is free (other than the 5 food), and you need the altar to get up to tier 3 (which you need to build siege engines) anyway. Most people use the blood mage and buy him boots of speed and a staff of teleportation so that they can use flame strike to harrass the enemy town. That's in solo, of course.
What part of it was unclear? That they blew up the temple? There was a mission in the game where you blew up a Protoss building and it caused a chain-reaction pylon explosion.
I don't know which part of this scenario isn't clearly explained by the game.
Well, the fact that the temple doesn't actually "explode", merely that it chauses a huge radiation of energy that appears to only kill Zerg.
Still not seeing what part of this scenario is confusing, other than the part where I thought you were talking about the blow-up-the-power-supply level because you talked about blowing up protoss buildings, and then you changed back to "no wait I meant radiating energy."
Maybe you need to replay the missions. I do not recall anything being unclear when I played the game.
Final Fantasy 7 was like, the best game ever made.
I love you
Man, that was supposed to be a troll post.
Even if it is true.
I guess saying "FF8" would've been overselling the troll...FFX might also have been too much. Yeah, 7 was a good choice. A bad FF game, but not a bad game on its own.

It was more because there are a million FF7 fanboys out there who will legitimately make this claim, not because the game itself was bad.
I really enjoyed it.
Steam tanks are pretty potent,
I finally found the replay of Moon VS Sky
Where sky uses the towered expansions + steam tanks strategy
Oh, Siege Engines are awesome (for certain things), no question about that. But not for your whole army with no support and no hero. You can knock that shit down with wisps and glaive throwers if there's no army or hero with it.

Man, the info panels on that are questionable at best. I didn't watch the replay, but it says that the NE player built TWENTY ancients of war. That's a fuckload. It also said that he upgraded Hides 4 times. That's...impossible.
Hrm. Hey, which Final Fantasy was the one with the giant steampunk mechs and the floating white bear things with wings? I enjoyed that one, looking back.
... 6? I think 6 fits the steampunk mechs description best.
They've practically all had white flying bear things, aka moogles
I don't think Moogles appeared in any FF game before 6. They did appear in Secret of Mana, which predates FF6 (I think), but they didn't appear in the FF series until 6 that I know about.

Moogles first appeared in FF3
On the NES? The one where they first introduced the job system? We're not talking about the one with Terra, Edgar, Sabin Locke, Celes...we're talking about 8-bit FF3 on the NES?
EDIT: I did not play through 3, so I wouldn't know, but are you sure? And if so, why didn't they appear in 4? Were they in 5? I don't remember 5 too well.

I played 3 on the compilation or whatever it was for the PS1 recently, and there was definitely a moogle village you needed to visit at some point.
I'm sure glad we've sorted out this important point
Moogles in 8 were limited to the chocobo raisin' tamagotchi minigame thing, from which you could get items for the main game that allowed you to summon mog in battle or something

there is a difference, you know

He did build a lot of AoWs though.
Uprooted them to protect expansions against tanks.
Well, he apparently had a level 6 DH and a level 7 Panda. That'll fuck up your tanks real nice.
I would recommend watching it, it is a very entertaining replay.

Again, because I'm asking to clarify here: Were they in 5, or merely in every game AFTER 5?
Man I can't remember moogles in 8 for some reason.

Not for Koreans
Ahhh there we go.
OK so...Moogles in FF5: Yes or no?
Those god damn Chinamen.
Basically, yes.
Frozen Throne, that is.
Are you in the east?
I don't know where you live
From now on the world runs on EST
