I kinda thought it was overpowered and I think Oda thinks the same by giving it to a fishman that is naturally handicapped by the general devil fruit weaknesses.

I have no idea what it does. I don't read the manga. But if you just read the name of the fruit it's kinda O_o

It might just be me but I thought it could be very potent if used correctly (just like with any fruit really):

    Spoiler description of it:
The target-target power allows you to aim at whichever target you decides upon from any location and any time.

Probably would replace Sanji. If she ever joined, it would cause him to be in a comatose state at all times

Also, am I the only one not feeling the epicness from the antagonistic fishmen? I guess it is really hard to come up with threatening enemies especially when you've already shown the world's strongest people

I don't think we'll see epic for a while, at least not of the level we are used to. This arc is just an excuse for the crew to strut their stuff.

And yes, "Nose" has definitely manned up. Let's get this party started!

So, he throws a knife, and halfway around the world, some dude dies.

It would be overpowered if he could also charge the stuff he throws with haki, making it a real threat against haki and ability users.

Well, regardless, you're going to get biased answers in here. :P

My personal take would be no, it's not worth watching the entire series, if only because a lot of the episodes are streeeeeeetched out. It is, however, WELL worth reading the comic (particularly because if you're at Loguetown at this point, you're past the sketchy early drawings). Then, after you've read the comic, you can go back and watch whatever specific fights you want to animated, and enjoy them that way.

Yeah, I'm going to agree with this, because watching animes of weekly mangas makes me want to blow my brains out with boredom, they're so stretched out. But, that's just me, other people seem to like the anime. But if you're getting bored already, I'd suggest reading it.

Cover story stuff: (spoilered to be safe)
The new cover story looks to be reactions around the world from the news that the Strawhats are back. So likely reactions from older supporting characters (and reveals of what they look like now).

looks like some of them are getting updated Wanted art if you look closely.

The article is about the Strawhat Pirates returning.

The picture for Luffy is obviously new.

Then from the looks of it are: Zoro (new with scar), Sanji (only his hair though so you cant see his face... follows the bad wanted picture gag), Nami (looks new... tough to tell), Ussop (not a Sogeking picture this time, wonder if his dad will notice him if we get a Shanks crew reaction), Then the old pictures for Chopper/Franky/Robin, and a Soul King picture for Brook.

I want an updated hand-drawn Sanji just like the original. And poor Chopper needs a proper bounty.

Luffy's should increase for obvious reasons.
Brook's bounty should increase due to being a famous rocker now.
Robin's been working with the Revolutionaries but its unknown whether she made her presence known.
The rest of the crew was studying/training by themselves so their bounty would only go up by association.

And speaking of bounties, how much of the StawHats' exploits are known. Their takedown of 2 of the Seven Warlords is largely unknown. No one believes in Sky Island. and CP-9 technically doesn't exist. Was the destruction of Enis Lobby attributed the Stawhats?

    Hypothesis
I haven't read the manga's but judging by Marco's comment that Blackbeard's body structure is irregular, I have determined that he suffers from Genetic Mosaicism. He is thus able to express the powers of multiple Devil Fruits, but only one type per cell.

Also I kind of laughed when Marco made that comment. Pretty much everyone in One Piece is irregular.

You ready for your mind to be blown?

It's a non manga spoiler, as in, that it references something that isn't beyond where you are in the anime-
