8 hours of training, plus 2 hours of actually, you know, doing the job
which is pretty gruelling
but
she makes $50/hour
she can expect about 10-20 hours a week from this job, and about once a month they'll probably send her on expense-paid business trips to Vancouver or Montreal
$50 an hour?
*shakes fist at prosperous northern territories*
It's $50 Canadian.
you realize $1 Canadian is actually worth more than $1 American right now
Damnit, Organichu, you always overstate my stance on LoL.
And I am really interested in giving it another shot.
ok basically all that matters is kills- and not just your team getting them, in the aggregate sense, but you getting them. if the number under your character's 'sword' icon in the post game summary isn't large... you aren't doing well or having fun.
there are a number of map objectives but they are all convoluted distractions that draw one's attention from the real task: killing other players as many times as possible. there are structures you can destroy, temporary buffs you get from slaying certain NPCs, etc- but that's all immaterial.
what you're gonna wanna do is configure a character with high map presence... that is, one whose abilities either have great range, or one who has spells such that they can traverse the map quickly. you can't kill enemies if you can't get in range. note that it's not necessary to initiate the kill- or to do enough damage for it to be possible. as long as you are the player who removes the enemy's very last HP, you are the person who won that kill and he gets added to your running total.
note that you don't want to spend too much time killing any one hero- that's counterproductive, as 2 minutes spent killing one opponent is inferior to using a single ability from far away to kill an enemy that your team has already basically whittled down.
my larger point is: there are no kill steals, only kill secures. so go forth. wait for an enemy champ to be ambushed and surrounded by four of your allies. verify that the enemy literally cannot survive, and then superflously leap in and get the final hit, because the rage of your teammate's is the fuel of your enjoyment.
Really, what don't you like about 40k Cass? Personally I haven't played Fantasy in like 8 years or more. Personally it makes me want to make an army just like the army of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. Heavy knights to charge. Religious fanatics in heavy armor walking towards the enemy.
Then I would have to die horribly while being lured into an attack by my enemy and tricked by my own men.

This is why you and I get to wear the tiaras that say Best At LoL and sit on thrones of naked gold women atop Mount Awesome.
that's all you need to know about LoL

On the black screen
Shame I don't like the game
Yeah but they have more OPP.
Much more aesthetically pleasing
Organichu is a good person to play LoL with!
He is good and pleasant and offers helpful advice!
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
But he always makes fun of me
Wargames.
you just have to make fun of him back
tell him that he looks bombed and depleted and he'll sign off crying
I see how it is. *squint*
Do you even play LoL anymore?
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
Yes!!
