So my plan is to launch to 5, then move to 3 to cover the civilians. The raider will be headed there if activated and I think Lee and 2 vipers can handle a single heavy.

    Any better ideas?

As Starbuck launches to protect the civilians, she catches wind of an investigation into some black marketeering going on in one of the nearby ships. As their ranking officer, she could give the green light on their investigation to let it root out whoever is stealing fleet supplies for private sale. Of course, she could just order them to kick the door in and arrest everyone, but the rest of Galactica would have to do some shady things to cover it up.

Who hey, too involved in mafia games and real life to advise, I think either move all those ships back or attack the heavy raider, if Apollo misses his attack and 2 heavy activations happen between Your, His, Cain and Ms. President's turns we are looking at a centurion invasion.

The civies are safe with me for now, protect the boat.

Nope. If the card is a valid card to play, no one can keep you from playing it.

    Anyway...

    1d8 +2 = 7! Hit!

The Heavy Raider goes down. Into one of Galactica's water tanks, that is. The President needs to choose between ordering Dee to lead some emergency repairs while the President pulls some strings to get the needed repair supplies or just letting the emergency systems take over.

Hmmm, 5 cards could be the difference on another skill check with more critical supplies. Then again we have a good spread of cards already and 5 hopefully low value ones is a small price to pay for 1 point of food.

Tough decision, but at least we finally got some jump prep.
