One comic is about a mac store employee abusing his power to get to the front of the line, and quitting to do so.
Another is about how a mac store employee trying to weasle his way into getting an iPhone only to find out he has to quit to do so, and getting fired for being an annoying punk in the process.
It's not rocket science, not even if you happen to be building a rocket while reading this.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe, and from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip-malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moments lost in time; gone like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die.
it's "oh hey that demo I really love to play over and over again whenever I'm in an EB/Gamestop is going to be expanded into a full game and ported to a system I actually own"
Seriously if I had the money to throw around I would buy a 360 just to play Geometry Wars I am not fucking kidding
It's the best game for 360.
Like Tycho said today, it's interesting how the downloadables are more fun than the "real" games.
I honestly believe that DL games will be better because they'll be more creative. They'll be like independent bands or independent movies, where they're actually making art that they believe is good, not focus-grouped, heavily-marketed shit. The production values will be way lower, but the creativity will be much greater.
between the 360 demo kiosks and the minigames from the Sly Cooper series I'm pretty familiar with the whole "left stick moves, right stick shoots" mechanic
Seriously. Don't buy a 360, just download it on Steam.
Also, everything I've read makes people sound retarded when discussing the Wii control scheme. Like they can't get it through their heads. Look, if you have the Geometry Wars for the PC, set it to keyboard and mouse control, with the mouse set to "aim" mode. Play around a little bit. The Wii version will apparently control basically like that, with the analog stick in place of the keyboard and the wiimote pointer instead of the mouse.
That Geometry Wars demo on Steam is pretty rad. This game might be awesome on the Wii.
Why would it be any better on the Wii than on the system it was designed for, which is more powerful (probably not relevant) and has a different control scheme (probably relevant)?
I admit this series on video game religion is pretty dorky.
The last two bubbles in this strip aren't bad. Let us play? Ha, ha!
I wonder when they will start chanting the Konami code.
Uh..."aren't" does not mean "are extremely," Strato.
I don't expect a lot out of CAD. It's simply the best of the generic bad gaming strips, which are all gaming strips besides PA. So when I say it's good, that means it's like slightly above staring at the wall.

Since I don't own a 360 I really don't care about the system it was designed for. What I do care about is the system I own, which is a Wii. Hence my statement. Why does everything have to be a major debate?

Also what's on Steam is the exact same as what's on 360, what's going on Wii is a whole new bigger thing.

You obviously own a PC and you obviously know it's on Steam, so, again, why would you go out of your way to mention the Wii?

Because they're making a full game out of it instead of a one-level demo.

And everyone's normal in these parts; nobody is a hero.

Hey, we made bigger shapes to shoot, and now you have to use the Wiimote to point around.
I like the original just fine. *shrug*
not because of Wii controls or anything

Just felt like that needed clarification.
well, it's like if roman catholic mass was based around games
funny, right?
yeah
i didn't think so
because you're constantly standing up and sitting down, you see
