Michael Shannon's great too and my opinion on Take Shelter has nothing to do with his performance which was phenomenal

Moneyball was about crotchety old men refusing to accept the young, new style that was obviously correct.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Was Take Shelter limited release or something? Wondering why I never heard of it. Got pretty good reviews.
it probably was, it was only in the arthouse cinemas here

I really just like Michael Fassbender's name a whole bunch.
I didn't see nearly all the movies I wanted to this year.
Drive was great though.
I dug Source Code but really only bring it up in the Oscar thread in the hopes they introduce a "We're sorry" award for snubbed films and give it to Moon.
And I guess those are the two movies I saw this year.
At first my friend and I were kinda disappointed when we stuck through the credits
But upon reflection it was some damn fine work
It's super impressive because the more closely you listen, the better it sounds
There are very few people whose voice I could confuse with his but even after learning it wasn't him I rewatched that bit and I still couldn't hear the difference
And speaking of good voice work, Johnny Depp really knocked it out of the park, I wasn't sure what to expect with him as the lead role.
Yeah, outside of a couple of instances I felt like he really gave it his all
Which is crazy when you learn that his schedule was so fucked he was only able to work on this movie for all of twenty days and they had to plan the other actors' schedules around his so he could actually interact with them during recording sessions

No way that was like the damn spinning Inception top!
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.
no it wasn't! it was the total opposite! it took a definitive stance which was duuuummmbbb
Also Michael Shannon and Michael Fassbender each have a hand on my boner at this moment in time.
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.
I decided that Michael Fassbender should be in more genre films

Oh and Harry Potter but whatever.
seems to be trying his best to do that at the moment
It's right up there with Benedict Cumberbatch

Yes! I saw it on a whim with little knowledge about it and was pleasantly suprised.
Great 'cameo' near the end, too.
That cameo blew my mind twice
Once when I actually watched it
And a second time during the credits when I learned who actually played him
Damn that was impressive
