Okay does anyone know if Arcanum has an awesome story like Vampire: Bloodlines did? because I have it but the brown color scheme puts me off.
I bought Arcanum off of gog.com because 9 out of 10 people here squealed about how interesting and well-crafted the fantasy world was, how deep the combat could be, and how unique the steampunk setting was.
These people misled me. The story was shit, the fetch quests were boring, and the characters were forgettable.
Who is the bad guy in Baldur's Gate 2? Jon Irenicus
Who is the bad guy in Final Fantasy 7? Sephiroth
Who is the bad guy in Arcanum? Derp
Dude appears to be really stoopid, he goes back and forth between completely different arguments tries to argue that the rules are unclear and then throws in some backward moral views at random.
Like I have seen trolls in DnD make more sense than this, I have know idea what the fuck his point is apart from "ugh, transsexuals are icky".
I just read it and you're right. Personal views of right and wrong is pretty much all this guy and Hägglund and the others have to back their opinions.
But KD changed their opinion didn't they? Can't remember.
I just don't understand what kind of person decides to write a... debate article (? I don't think thats a term. whatever) and carefully avoid to make any supporting arguments. Its pointless.
Or, actually, a spaceship game but there fucking AREN'T ANY.
I want a space rpg where it has fleet turn based combat but not like an actual stressful strategy game
I just want to move around capital ships in a big story and in the end my guy is the best space commander ever
I would like a real-time one, but you're playing one space commander, controlling it from the CIC of his flagship through screens and subordinates, and it's a slow game, as the distances in space would be
and tense, really tense, when you and your enemy is firing shots and you're just waiting for a hit report, or for the unbelievable noise of incredible amounts of kinetic energy wreaking havoc on your ship.

Have you read Honor Harrington? David Weber does that with his CIC POV's during space battles.

this lowly and debased world crushed bushido blade's spirit and we deserve the crap we have
Much better than when her hair is stick straight in the second movie.

Okay, so, step 2 is a snake codename.

Kingdom of Paradise for PSP had different stuff. It was...ok.
Until I stopped playing, tried to go back, but couldn't figure out where I needed to go.
I should dig out Freelancer. I haven't played it in a few years.
Maybe over the summer. For now I'm focused on just getting some kind of energy back and also surviving my Heian Shodan.
I want a space rpg that is basically battlestar galactica.
Nah, it's all about creating the slightest of reasons to put tall women in tight-fitting clothing.
You think David Lynch started making movies about lipstick lesbians and classic cars for the artistic merit of it all?
It's just the level of bombastic no-fucks-giving that our most elevated filmmakers eventually reach.
that's not a snake codename!
.... Metal Gear?
this puts me in mind of Star Control 2
