I brought up the fact that theres no absolute because as far as we know, other civilizations with other ideas of good and evil could exist out there
and got laughs
but seriously

You know, I never really thought about other creatures' morality before. That's pretty crazy to imagine too.

if there are other sentient beings out there, chances are they have moral systems too
also chances are they're different from ours
chances are they could be swapped
chances are ANYTHING COULD FUCKING HAPPEN IN THIS GIANT ASS UNIVERSE HOLY FUCKING SHIT
Yeah, exactly. The odds that there are any other creatures like humans, or similar to humans, are infinitesimal. But there's certainly other living things out there somewhere. Hell, we're still discovering species here on Earth that we didn't know about before. We still have all that space in the ocean, for example, that hasn't even been explored yet.

The amount of money they want is chump change to most religious associations, and it would have been really simple to get the members of whatever organization they're with to just donate the money. There's lots of low quality productions that are similar to this, that are produced by groups with their own internal funding.
But the killer box of porn is a pretty funny concept, regardless; unintentional or not.

What this project is all about?
Harmless is a feature film shot in the popular found footage style. It's the story about a husband and father and his battle with a box of porn that is found in the closet. Once opened, the box of porn begins to torment the family, much like a poltergeist. It's sort of a social commentary on how pornography can destroy a family.
Why are we doing a project like this?
Because films are not only entertaining but they're also a way to teach people. Society learns their morals and values through music, film and television. Pornography is such a huge problem that simply telling someone how dangerous it is usually doesn't work. You have to tell a compelling story to catch someone's attention and then educate them while they're being entertained.
Note there's no explicit statement of an actual haunting. I think the "haunting" is actually just going to be symbolic of how the porn itself tears the family apart. This is going to be hilariously awful.
