huh, courtroom drama. Why, did the landlord try to make the tenant as miserable as possible until they moved out, and then crossed a legally-enforceable line
Nope. Daughter in law simply pointed out that if a contract can be shown to be demonstrably unfair the agreement can be canceled.
In this case the girl paying 3k yuan a month for property valued at 8k a month and rising, for another 12 years with no way to adjust it, was considered to be unfair.
unconscionability doctrine?
well reasonable I guess. It can be a little woolly, esp if it is asymmetrically enforced

I imagine property taxes alone would soon dwarf the rent making it fairly clear in this case.
[A] general process in which ionic compounds (complexes, or salts) separate or split into smaller particles, ions, or radicals, usually in a reversible manner. For instance, when a Brønsted-Lowry acid is put in water, a covalent bond between an electronegative atom and a hydrogen atom is broken by heterolytic fission, which gives a proton and a negative ion. Dissociation is the opposite of association and recombination. The process is frequently confused with ionization.

The characters are nice to each other occasionally I guess and some of them are smart?
I can't stand that show. I dunno. Might not actually be any contemporary sitcoms that fit my preferences. I'm just kind of getting sick of only watching animation and people watching at bars makes me feel like I'm being creepy if I do it too much.

I've seen bits a pieces of Malcolm in the Middle. It had one of my favourite lines from a show: "Hey guys, I just created a new colour by combining blue and yellow! I call it....blellow."
The cat brought a dead small-eared rabbit into the house one time
Later I saw the cat chasing a rabbit in the yard and I managed to nab the cat before she could catch the rabbit.
But while I was dealing with the cat the dog ran out of the house and soon the rabbit was crying out "mew mew mew mew" and the dog was on top of the rabbit and the rabbit was lying there breathing heavily with the side of its body split open.

I daresay that it is intrinsic not to appreciate the malleability of identity once one, um, identifies with it
Shenanigans!

Why not try Zumba? Maybe you'll like it!

The moment you decide to make aerobics "A mix of aerobics and X" it is not a thing I like.
Especially if X is dancing of any sort whatsoever.
Nope.
My title is a reference to a Moxy Fruvous song.
THEN WE ARE NO LONGER ASSOCIATES.

Yes.
Jim Caviezel is totally Liam Neeson from Taken and it's fucking awesome.
Something that isn't composed solely of assholes and idiots or rich people with social disorders.
HIMYM or Parks and Rec!
HIMYM?
P&R is assholes and idiots
I mean I love P&R but let's be honest here.

I'm sure there's some, but none are coming to mind.
The last sitcom I watched regularly was Third Rock from the Sun. A show full of people TRYING to be assholes and failing miserably.

It ran away when I got close.
