I'd like to see a live-action Mr Freeze done proper.
Instead of the adam west version we got in 97.
I really wonder what it would have been like had the studios gone towards their ideas of casting Anthony Hopkins or Patrick Stewart in the role of Mr. Freeze.
But than again Sylvester Stallone & Hulk Hogan were in the running too once they decided to go all buff...
I'm going to assume that the reason nobody's reacting to Poison Ivy + Bane is that they've mentally blocked out the existence of B&R.
Didn't even consider that actually.
I was happier then.
Yeah.
See?
yeah.

Speaking of Mr. Freeze, Kevin Smith is starting a new... I guess Batman-centered podcast? I dunno what it's supposed to be. Anyway, for the first episode he interviews Paul Dini, some pretty interesting stuff if you've never heard the guy talk (like me). Even after all these years, talking about the origin of Mr. Freeze makes Dini choke up.

God I would love to have seen that.
Might have given the film something memorable.

Well, I think we can all agree that Arnold's take on the character is without a doubt memorable.

Say what now?
The cast list has a Young Talia Al Ghul. And Liam Neeson.
Flashback? Or just another web of Nolan misdirection?
Couple hours of new story missions including some time spent playing as Robin
But my bad, it's not out for a while yet
This is fantastic news. I was all ready to start playing that again, too, awesome.
pfft

It looks like he's reading some disrespectful skywriting.
"'Bane's... momma... is... so...'-HEY!"
oh yes
That would definitely be the last Batman movie Nolan ever did.
I don't know, I think Poison Ivy is certainly easier to work into the Nolanverse over someone like ClayFace or ManBat.
I think Poison Ive and Clayface would both be pretty easy.
He's bottom of the barrel in my list.
I think the bigger problem is that he'd be boring. So yeah I'd take a lot of characters over Clayface.
But Nolan puts Bane and Ivy in the same movie, potentially working together?
Ha.
Because I know he could be terrifying.
It had John Glover in it!?!?
Didn't even consider that actually.

you are not insulting adam west's batman, are you?
the late 90s batman movies are not like Adam West's batman work
at all

But Mr Freeze in B&R was not camp done right.
Especially not after TAS proved that he can be a fantastic character.
Yeah.
See?

the real villain of Rises is Darkseid
we've only been seeing like the first 1/4 - 1/3 of the movie
