    How are there public domain superheroes? I mean, if Mickey Mouse isn't yet, these guys must be from the 20s?

    Or were they abandoned or something?

    Either way it seems like it woulda been easier to make new ones.

    Probably just abandoned. I can't believe nobody bothered to renew the copyright on Green Lama in spite of his massive popularity. :)

    They should re-imagine him as the Green Llama with all of the powers of a llama.
