If we postulate, and we just have, that within un-, sub-, or supernatural forces the probability is that the law of probability will not operate as a factor, then we must accept that the probability of the first part will not operate as a factor, in which case the law of probability will operate as a factor within un-, sub-, or supernatural forces. And since it obviously hasn’t been doing so, we can take it that we are not held within un-, sub-, or supernatural forces after all; in all probability that is. Which is a great relief to me personally.

Finger pointing! Accusations! Who should the arguments believe? They looked to the Scotsman for suggestions, but he did not appear... with so many guides, none knew who to follow, and ideas flew back and forth... at this point, some doubted they could even trust the examination of the corpses. Somone whispered careful words while eating a hotdog, and ended up nearly choking on it.
The True Scotsman was elsewhere. On his way to the square, he paused, concerned. Who to trust? No truly bad argument would deceive him, but no truly bad argument would hold fast to the facts. He leaned against a building, adjusting his mask, feeling pensive underneath it.
Softly, there was a tap on the window near his head. He peered through it, but dust and grime blocked his view. Again, the soft tap.
He walked to the door. Hesitating only a moment, he opened it and stepped inside, letting it swing closed behind him as his eyes adjusted to the gloom.
Figures stood across a dirty brown rug, silently. At length, one spoke.
“Welcome, Scotsman...”
“You. If anyone knows arguments, I do, and I know your type. So sure of yourselves. So... reasoned.” He almost spat.
“You think you understand, but you don’t. This is for the best... with you gone, the rest will surely flee.”
“If any arguments possess the mettle for this fight, it’s the ones I’ve brought with me. Do what you came to, if you feel it’s necessary. It’s not over even after I’m gone!”
“We don’t feel it’s necessary, said Soundness. We’ve proved it is, and tested the proofs. We don’t feel... we know.
From behind him, another voice chimed in. “... at least, within the framework we’ve established. We’re not done testing all our premises-”
“Enough torture!” SeGaTai shouted. He ripped off his mask and threw it on the floor. “Do it now, if you’ve got the stomach!”
In fact, it seems they did.
Back in the square, the arguments decided to go with the devil they knew, and LoserForHireX was their choice. Protests did not deter them from their appointed task, and soon he was no more.
