“I feel like we’ve been doing this for so long, five or six years. And we’re kind of like saying, well, let’s just do what’s natural and just kind of explore that, instead of like forcing it all the time,” 37-year-old Redfoo told the Associated Press. ”I think that we naturally just started hanging with two different sets of people, two different crowds, but we’re always family. He’ll always be my nephew, I’ll always be his uncle.”
For those celebrating the news, don’t get too excited just yet. Redfoo also revealed that he’ll still be making “LMFAO-ish music” on his own.
Today is a sad day, but tomorrow is new. Will you still be shuffling?

I'm not surprised if they didn't break up. They have to know they are on a short burst of success and they sure as hell aren't going to find any later.
FYI they are not actually breaking up, somebody in the (Australian?) news misunderstood a statement they made that they are currently working on other projects as "LMFAO is over"

it seems like a dumb move to split after making, what, two songs
that's pretty weird to make that kind of music together, imo
but I guess I shouldn't judge
I'm not successful at anything
I fucking hate their music.
But god do I hate their music.
may flights of angels sing that godawful noise you call music as you go to your sleep

Also Hustling is a better thing to do on a daily basis than Shuffling.
If only because I don't know anything about modern music.
Berry Gordy isn't just some dude who owns a record company.
Nah it's just dumb party music I guess?

And I think the music is pretty dumb
