Battle dice are the bit of the game I like the least as it is a lot of luck. I don't mind random cards but battle has such a huge impact it changes things too much. But it does fit the theme very well.
ah...well, that is my bad...had i known that, i would have stop him wtih my 4 hits and not the acyolytes. Should have looked more at those upgrades....sorry guys.
