Okay sorry but I'm still unclear on the bidding. If I bid 3 TG on speaker, then say robinlambet bid 4, then Rob would get speaker, I would get 1 TG, Kaneski would get 2, and everyone else would get 4?
And I'm not sure what happens if we're outbid for other stuff. If someone bids 1 TG on a race, is outbid by a bid of 2, then changes their bid to 1 for another race, what happens? Do they count as having bid 1 or 2 total? Blarney mentioned something about bid sums but I didn't understand.

That's not how I read... if you bid 3 on Speaker, my bid drops to 0... I think that's the case with everything - once your bid gets overwritten, your bid resets and only the final, settled total counts.
If you bid 3 on speaker now, your total would be 3 (0 for HW, 0 for Creuss, 3 for Speaker). If things were to end RIGHT NOW, then you'd tie for 3 total with Stever (0 from Race, 3 from HW, 0 from speaker) and robin (2 from race, 1 from HW, 0 from speaker). Lyko would get 1 TG (a total of 2 from HW), I'd get 2 TGs (total 1 from race), etc... In other words - 5/6 people will have 0 as their Speaker bid when calculating "maximums bids". The player with the highest maximum gets nothing, those below that player - the difference. At the moment with bids, you are set to receive 3 TGs - Robin, Stever and I tie for 3 maximum. Your bid total is 0.
Speaker is the odd one out, because it doesn't have offsetting compensation. There's no second speaker.

Only the final bids you make on the items you win will be counted for the purposes of starting compensation. If, during the auction, one of your claims is outbid, then the amount you have put into that item will not count against you since you are no longer winning. The way Kaneski laid it out is how things are going to work.

I reckon Hacan and Starts A, C and F need to get 1 higher to balance... Hacan can literally start anywhere and not care.
C is arguably the best spot for resources, influence and isolation from pesky neighbors.
A, E and F can make up the 3tg bid difference from 0 in 2 rounds, which is what I think the bid difference should do anyway. But hey, if you do C and F without booting me, I'd be that much happier.

Everyone adds up their FINAL bids Race, Location, Speaker). Each player gets the THE HIGHEST AMOUNT BID minus THEIR INDIVIDUAL BID.
Basically it's like MrBlarney said, you are bidding what you are willing to give others.
