Heirlooms look like Tier 0. Then there was Tier 0.5 where you did a series of questlines to turn the blues into epics. Then Tier 1 dropped off MC bosses, except Ragnaros could drop Tier 2 leggings. Tier 2 off Blackwing Lair bosses. And Tier 3 off Naxxramas bosses.
You know what pisses me off about the heirlooms? Each "type" is from a set, except for agility mail, which is a complete hodgepodge. It's Herods helm/shoulder and then Deathdealers chest and the legs I can't even remember

Only about half of the T0.5 items in each set were purple, but they were all itemized so much better than T0. Spirit on Shadowcraft, right?
And completing that set still ranks as one of my best WoW moments.

I had leveled weaponsmithing to max in BC and made that red one handed sword epic for him, had some axe offhand. I wanted melee hunter to be a thing so much.
I still kinda am peeved that I never finished the 0.5 set. I got about halfway through, but as soon as I completed Loremaster, I dropped it. The darkmoon faire stuff isn't the same....

Right, the str heirloom shield is a mc drop lookalike.

I got bracers, gloves and boots before I was like "This is entirely too much work for no return"
if only I knew of our transmog future
On my warrior I'd always forget to bring enough arrows for this fight. Hunters didn't like me.
remember quivers and soul pouches, god how bad of a mechanic it is to remove a set of inventory slots for class stuff
never forget
And also that one of our hunters used all his DKP on one of the melee weapons solely because of it
My vanilla guild was totally awesome
rip the dream
His damage was worse than mine, and I was using Sinister Strike with daggers
One word:
Lacerate
/cast Wing Clip
GG
Hit Exalted with August Celestials with my tailor, so who want's a big bag
Got a few upgrades on my warlock, to help with that dang green fire quest
Joined a random Garrosh group on a whim, downed him in minutes and got the heirloom axe

Dear Satan.....
Never forget that a hunter tanked Nefarian before a druid did.
rip vanilla feral druids
My initial disappointment on how they handled Ner'zhul/Shadowmoon is not an indicator of the expansion as a whole. It gets better!
wtf
I'll never forget my friends disappointment when they learned that non resto and non prot specs where garbage for raiding
but I was like hey ain't missing much all I can do is frostbolt because the first two raids are completely immune to fire
But I also kinda don't want to do the leveling content 5 times before release
We could do fun-geoning!
I've mostly been dicking around with garrisons and they're actually pretty fun
Why would this upset you?
Why would you bother getting attached to anything from a beta?
That's dumb.
Because I hadn't seen Nagrand yet and it's the furthest done away from new character transfer.
