It made me realise that I'm now too old to regularly hang out with teenagers, but not yet old enough to have to deal with teenagers because of my friends all having kids
Ok, I started watching that True Detective ya'll were all talking about some time ago. Damn. This Matthew McConaughey performance is like woah. Reminds me of how amazed I was at Brad Pitt after watching 12 Monkeys. The show is juuuust a bit too talky. But I feel like its a subtle entry into the "Intellectual Horror" genre that caught fire after Silence of the Lambs. But yeah, good stuff. Surprisingly more in my wheelhouse than I thought it would be.
Give it about a week or two and then bump the thread by talking about how badly women are represented in the show and about how you read The Yellow King before the show. It'll be a hoot!
I don't think you can't say modern consoles aren't holding back gaming, when significant work is going into working sleeping dogs to ps4, its going to cost 60$ and still doesnt look as good as the 20$ pc copy I bought ~2 years ago with the HD texture pack.
Before they came out, everyone was heralding that they finally put a large amount of ram in the machines, but there was a lot of people quick to point out that the hardware really isn't going to be much of an upgrade, and gaming is in trouble if we have to sit on these consoles for another 5-7 years.

I don't think you can't say modern consoles aren't holding back gaming, when significant work is going into working sleeping dogs to ps4, its going to cost 60$ and still doesnt look as good as the 20$ pc copy I bought ~2 years ago with the HD texture pack.
Before they came out, everyone was heralding that they finally put a large amount of ram in the machines, but there was a lot of people quick to point out that the hardware really isn't going to be much of an upgrade, and gaming is in trouble if we have to sit on these consoles for another 5-7 years.
I dunno, games won't improve how they look as fast for sure, but that's such a small deal outside of marketing anyway. There's nothing really to do with the new consoles stopping people making more interesting games on more diverse topics, which we're seeing a lot of with the AAA/indie schism killing off all the middling studios.

It could also be how being young and having money is.
I'm a student and most of my friends have jobs, it is getting difficult to keep up in social activites money wise these days, the food and drink is more expensive than what we used to get and there is more of it.

all weapons are tuned up to 11, the highest difficulty amps up the damage of all attacks including your own
but it's hilarious because the combat can actually really slow down my modern system with all the blood and giblets flowing everywhere

Yeah, I mixed up my own for the basecoat on Voldo, but I'll try using that as basecoat for the rest of the models.
Voldo's a warlock anyway, so he can look a bit special. And Paingivers don't have much armor anyway, most of him will be red cloth.
