They do go into more detail in the actual episode. And Cenac absolutely describes it as yelling. Specifically noting how the entire office could hear it.
Also Moffat has some really well-established flaws as a showrunner that I'm perfectly comfortable placing a lot of Sherlock's less desirable qualities at his feet.
I love Sherlock Holmes but I don't like Sherlock or Elementary.
But Elementary is a okay to good show!

When they first came out, I thought Sherlock was the better show. The mysteries are smarter, and I like the fact that they aren't solving murders all the dang time but elementary has a much better handle on the characters especially Watson.
I dunno if I even care that much about the new season of Sherlock. The last season was tripe.
It's pretty fun, they don't leave you hanging on the twist and never explain everything. It's mostly in the open by the 1/2 or 2/3 point. Of course, I'm expecting another twist in the last episode, since it seems too simple now.

Just finished the final episode of Justified
I'm still shook up and emotional, but man what a finale.
And even though the final scene is Raylan lying to Boyd for Eva's (and her son's) protection, I still whispered 'because we dug coal together' before Boyd said it.

I'm going to be super disappointed if there is not a twist in the last episode.
The biggest factor here is Cumberbatch is so thoroughly unlikable in the role
I sat through two seasons and Sherlock and I kept waiting for the show to acknowledge he was an unlikable dick with no redeeming qualities other than being the best at solving mysteries.
But the supporting cast pretty much just rolls their eyes and goes "Oh, Sherlock!" a bunch and I've not watched anything since

Do any of the characters say "No shit, Sherlock" when he says something obvious

House was a good Sherlock Holmes (during the show's good years anyway) because everyone kind of hated him but had to tolerate him because he got results, dammit.

yeah but the fans LOVE gay sherlock
if they were in charge it'd be nothing but tender goofy romantic john-and-sherlock-in-bed-the-morning-after scenes
If Tumblr had it's way the only channel you could watch Sherlock on would be Youporn.

Satans..... hints.....
Oh man, now I'm picturing a series where Artemis travels the world, solving mysteries
I'd watch it
And getting them so wrong, and spending so much time doing it, the guilty party decides to admit to it just to get the damn thing over with
Me.
However I like Sherlock and Sherlock Holmes.
I know some people took exception to this but I fucking loved it, it was hilarious
I love it, but cannot watch more than, like, 3 episodes at a time
But it does mean I'm still kept in suspense.

There's not a lot of middle ground for me
They should have the latest season up come September?

I haven't read any of the books or seen any adaptations before this one
But my ideal version of Sherlock Holmes is probably Dale Cooper, because he has a real love for humanity rather than a disconnect from it
Without A Clue might be my favourite Holmes adaptation.
Without a Clue is great.
