Hmmm, seems like I made the right choice when out of the superhero shows I decided to catch up with AoS. The CW shows stardte out fun but seem to be one a steady stupidity and Drama induced decline.
I love it when a drama gets to end game and can start confidently doing crazy shit without the worry that they'll screw up the longevity of their show.
If we were gonna get more of the season 2 badness, yes. But I'm suuuuuper bummed the promise of an anthology series of years-spanning mysteries with each season taking place in a new locale didn't get realized.

Either we'll get a bunch of time jumps to get to the end of the 80s, or the Jennings' cover will eventually be blown and they'll run to Russia/get arrested/get killed

Well, watched the last Nashville with the wife last night. It really sucks that when shows are cancelled late in the season like this that they can't find way to just shoot one last episode to tie things up. Cliff hangers are fun at the end of a season - not so fun when you can't resolve them. We went through the exact same thing with Vegas many years ago and I believe they ended up releasing the script to what would have been the next season premiere just so people would know if a character lived.
