Gooey I'm going to pimp my blackpowder pistol out.
I've done a template of the back plate (since it's just two screws) so I can cut out a metal plate for it and engrave it and I've got two nice pieces of texas longhorn to put on the handle to pad the grip.
When I get the hawken built I'm going to do some turkey and hawk feathers off the butt stock.
I'm also putting a vernier sight on it.

I also told my wife I'm going to take some pallets from work to make rustic shelves in my room for all of my camping/bushcraft gear and she officially told me that I'm no longer allowed to make fun of the words "artisan" or "hipster" again.
Like, she proclaimed it as law. She said if I'm building custom shelves out of pallets I can no longer make fun of those two words.

I am not sure how to do that but I like the sound. Part of being a contractor is you get used in bids. So I am down with this.
