I'm just saying, the series finale better end with them going "Yes, this was a good year for us in this, NINETEEN SIXTY FIVE." *explosions, flags raised*
Is they don't end this season of Legion with a dance number they DONE FUCKED UP.

The only problem with that is if the final battle comes down to a dance-off, the villain is going to take them all to the cleaners.
Has there... Already been a dance number in Legion

I love Legion. Episode 7:
"We have to change the frozen timeline so I can split David from the shadowking with this device I created!"
It's so comic book and I love it.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
I agree that they're definitely trying to be weird about what year it is on purpose. Which is why I was caught off guard when they casually dropped some solid dates.

Major Spoilers for the back end of the season of Young Pope, and the finale
It turns out Lenny actually has a direct line to God through prayer. He prays for a barren woman to become pregnant and she does. There's a flashback to his childhood when he healed the terminal illness of a friend's mother. And it's heavily implied he gets God to kill a nun who's been abusing people in Africa and everyone thinks is a saint.
The "what happened to the parents" question is left open to interpretation and is never really definitively answered to my satisfaction. Sister Diane Keaton knows what's up but she ain't saying. In the finale Lenny gives his first major public appearance in Venice, where his parents supposedly went, and he sees an old grim disapproving hippie couple in the crowd. It's either his parents or he's having a vision.
“I was quick when I came in here, I’m twice as quick now”

My favorite thing about the young pope is my brother and i continaully getting drunk and yelling "Young POPE"
So, this was going to be a post about how this season of The 100 is actually mostly better (so far) than the previous season. About how you can almost entirely skip S3 and not miss a beat, that sort of thing. And then
Octavia slept with the dude that she almost murdered for burning down Arkadia because she "needed to feel something" after emotionally hitting rock bottom, I guess. And then decided she's going to go live with him on his farm or something?
Also Harper is fuckin' jacked, but that's not a negative in any way.

I thought the Octavia stuff was dumb (but not out of bounds for a CW show), and not having Luna in the ep is the worst, but this episode redeemed itself with Harper looking heyyyyy and Bellamy being very unhappy. I drink his tears like fine wine.

Ok, I am only on episode one of Enter the Badlands but it seems awesome as shit.
Why haven't I heard more about this?

I remember everyone was really looking forward to it last year and then everyone was disappointed as soon as it came out
It's in my Netflix queue though, I still want to check it out

I mean, the acting is rather stiff but the fight scenes more than make up for it.

So I tried to click on the second season of Love, and it started on episode 1 of season 1, and I'm like fuck it. Let's do this.
But upon rewatching: listen, I love Gillian Jacobs as much as any red-blooded American, and Paul Rust is, you know, fine. He's fine. But rewatching this show really drives home the point that any scene without Claudia O'Doherty is a profoundly wasted scene. She is just the best person there is.
I know it's only 3 episodes in, but this is shaping up to be my favourite season of the whole show.
The last episode was amazingly beautiful, especially the fight.

Paul Rust is taking Gillian Jacobs to the Magic Castle again, and why am I rewatching this season. I cannot look at the window that Netflix is currently playing in.

for every tyrant or testees or son of the beach or american horror story, there's about four more fantastic shows to counterbalance
like, it may just, pound for pound, be my favorite non-niche network on tv
(my actual favorites being a tie between mtv classic and el rey)
At least two so far that I can remember. Maybe three.
Truly the master of being on brand.

I like her new song "Love" but other than that I'm really only a fan of Summertime Sadness
Wut.
Also that end sequence was one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
the one thing you can never take away from the is they are fearless....not everything is a success but damn do they always swing hard for the fences.
On hand, FX gave the world Terriers.
On the other hand, FX canceled Terriers.
It got...weird

Everything about the finale is pretty much perfect, but this one is up there. Christian Kane did great work with his part of it.
30 seconds in and between those fields and the rad style of the dude on the bike and I basically feel ready to sign on the dotted line
Also Harper is fuckin' jacked, but that's not a negative in any way.

Hahaha oh man I just realised how much that sequence is precisely targeted at GG
New thread time!
I gotcha right here!
Well now I gotta make this a priority
Why haven't I heard more about this?
Because they haven't aired an episode since the season 1 finale back in 2015
I remember everyone was really looking forward to it last year and then everyone was disappointed as soon as it came out
It's in my Netflix queue though, I still want to check it out

This show is so pretty. Just stunning and haunting and emotional
Our first Young Jack flashback of the revival! I love young Jack's design, always a treat
The warped shouting Jack hallucination reminded me of something out of the ATLA ep "Nightmares and Daydreams"
I think the most intriguing things about this revival are
1. Where they might be going with Ashi, whether a redemption or something else
2. What's up with the ghostly antler samurai? Love the design, very interested to see what it means
I know it's only 3 episodes in, but this is shaping up to be my favourite season of the whole show.

It wasn't as weird as it sounds, because nothing is as weird as that sounds.
Stars of Love sitting at a bar
Sound of thundering horses
Dothraki show up. Slaughter and pillage.
Episode over.
Dave Allen ends up shirtless, screaming, covered in blood and waving someone else's sword.
