The Departed
Godfather 2
Goodfellas

aaaanndd....hmm. Road to Perdition? It would be The Godfather but it feels wrong having 2 of them on the list.
Honestly, Godfather 1 and 2 should just count as one movie.
Like Kill Bill, sort of.
That's probably true. If I had to pick though I like 2.
Also, is that list in any particular order? Because as much as I liked The Departed, I thought Godfather was much better.
Honestly, I can't think of a movie that was as good as Godfather that wasn't from the black & white or early color era.
I didn't really get Good Will Hunting. It seemed to just be an ordinary story about someone with an above-average intellect. I found it rather boring.
I think Robin Williams and Matt Damon's interaction is what made that movie for me. Damon and Minnie Driver was also decent. Anytime you can put a "love story" plot line in a movie and not piss me off it's a plus.
People posting in this thread that haven't seen The Departed should be dragged into the street and made fun of mercilessly. All this talk about it has got me all randy, I'll probably end up watching it tonight even though I don't need to.
Hay guyz, I'm about to make an H/A thread about car rentals and the like. Please, aid me in my quest to get myself and my girlfriend to her home for Christmas.
I work at a car rental company if you have some questions, but I'm presently boycotting H/A. What do you want to know?

I liked the writing more than the story.
I sort of have a "thing" for Matt Damon, though. I really liked him in Dogma.
Ooh, actually, I really liked him in Dogma too. Someone said something about Matt Damon movies earlier and I was trying to think of one that I liked, but I'd forgotten about Dogma.

What about homosexual men and heterosexual females?

Dogma is blasphemy. The real god would have wiped out the entire population of the continent the minute he found out that there are abortion-clinics here. Also he's obviously a he because how can you be omnipotent if you can't even get an erection?

Finding men attractive is a sin.

Watch out, posting is against the rules in H/A. I might flip out for no reason and ban you out of nowhere then proceed to go around talking negatively about your dick.

Yeah, I think a large part of why that movie didn't appeal to me was that none of the character interactions really meant anything to me. I'm not a total plotwhore, but sometimes a clever plot can make up for sterile characters, and for me this movie had sterile characters and a dull plot.
Lion in Winter, now that's a real good movie where nothing happens.
Snatch isn't really an action movie, nor is Lock Stock. And Statham is hardly an action person in either one, transporter 2 sucked, Italian job isn't an action movie, the one was a jet li movie where he was a side character with little action. So you are left with Crank, transporter and War. To each their own I guess but there are better action stars out there.

Now, if it had some car-chases and gunfights, that would be a movie.
Is that the one where they did the Star Wars sort-of parody?

Who is Alex Trebec?
I...what? Are you asking us something?
Please try again.
Then again, Robin Williams gives me a rash.

I like this movie less every time I see it

Sadness, he hasn't even been in that many action films. There are much better selections.

I jsut never have any on hand when Robin pops in.

It's not like that, VC.

Tell Frankie to stop making oven-mitts out of them. If that doesn't work start buying cheap ones to teach her a lesson.

Will is a subbie? That's hot.

Snatch, Lock/Stock, Transporter 1 and 2, Italian Job, The One, Crank, War...
I mean, how many counts as "that many"?
Well it wouldn't make much sense here as this is a discussion forum.
Anyways, there's nothing like something silky next to your skin to make you feel like a princess all day.
