"We've seen evidence for this water ice before in observations by the Mars Odyssey orbiter and in disappearing chunks observed by Phoenix last month, but this is the first time Martian water has been touched and tasted," he said.

Yeah, I got that, but still this happened in the past. This is just an extra level of verification. It's nice, but the party happened in June.
"It's an extended family for me," says Michael, a 59-year-old urologist from North Dakota. "I'd always loved Stars Wars and after my wife passed away 15 years ago I threw myself into it and the community became my family. I meet some of my best friends at these events. I have a day job and a mortgage and car, but this is my real life. I couldn't say what I'd do if I didn't have Star Wars and the community."
Man, that is really sad on a number of levels. I'd hate to have nothing left but Star Wars fans.

Well I made a thread about it because I think it's a big deal. I think everyone should think the same, but maybe people just don't care and that's that.

To me, it's the wrong time. Making a thread when we first found water would make sense, as would making one when we get the results of the chemical analysis of the water inside Phoenix right now. Just having picked it up isn't that great of a milestone.
Although the twitter for it was, again, really funny:
"I can now say I'm the first mission to Mars to touch and then taste the water, FTW!"

Well I can always update it when the results come in, which hopefully shouldn't be much longer.
Me either, but I've sent the email now, so let us hope that I've not corrected an error but given it the wrong label as that would make me a stupid fuck

So, I hear that a live action Cowboy Bebop movie is in the works.
Keanu Reeves is on board to play Spike at the moment (He has been for 8 months) and while that initially freaked me out, it ended up making a bit of sense. He's a lanky dude, whose also decently muscular.

So as of 2-3 hours ago, it thundered, lightninged, and rained so hard for whatever reason that we have a small puddle in our carpet downstairs, a foot of water just covered the street at the end of our driveway, and the breaker for my room of the house blew.
Fun times. God I hate the name of this city sometimes.

While you sleep, they'll be watching.
So will I. Just like every other football game. Mwahahaha!

We can build them. We have the technology.

I remain cautiously optimistic.
Not the best there is, but it's magic!
And if you ask me, time +9 is for posers.
Is that an, Equilibrium shirt?
It's been a while since I've seen the movie, but that reminded me of it for some reason.
Yes, it is an Equilibrium shirt!
I'm impressed I remembered, it's been a year or two. :^:
