Networking Problems [SOLVED]

Okay, so I took my PC to my friend's house this weekend, and now I can't connect to my wireless network at home. I'm guessing settings messed up, and I have no idea how or why.

-I can connect to the network, but not the internet through it.

-It will not open a gateway to the router.

-Windows tells me there is a IP conflict with the network. It's not kidding: If I'm connected, other computers can't access the net through the same router (wired or wireless). I disconnect and everyone else is fine. The ip phone through the route is unaffected by this whole thing.

-ipconfig will not /release: "no adapter is in state permissible etc"

I've tried opening up the wireless (no WEP), resetting router settings.

Any ideas? Do I need to reinstall Windows or something? D:

Make sure that you've got it set to a dynamic IP (or a static IP that is definitely not being used by something else).

You mean my PC, right? Google is failing me here (or I'm failing Google?) How do I do this?

Control Panel (Make sure its in classic view for these instructions)> Network connections> right click on your wireless settings and select properties, scroll down in the window, find Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and click the properties button

Did both wireless networks use the same SSID by chance?

Thank you Blakfield, that was it! No idea how it got changed, because I definitely didn't do it.

The SSID was NOT the same, but I was not able to connect to their wireless (unable to find certificate???), and we had to use LAN.
