Welcome to Los Angeles, in the state formerly known as California, in the country formerly known as the United States of America. Privately owned police forces patrol nearly identical burbclaves, the Mafia is a respected business organization, and a pizza delivery never takes more than 30 minutes. Your average bum on the street is at least a multi-quadrillionaire, and any important mailing services are taken care of by a squad of teenagers riding high-tech skateboards. Think this world is a little too crazy for you? Here, put on this headset and turn on the goggles…
Welcome to the Metaverse. The Street is packed with avatars that walk right through you, and flashy animations of impossible dimensions dance across the sky, bounce off building walls or throw themselves in your face. The inhabitants here range from fuzzy black and white avatars, to stock Clints and Brandys, to regular people, to dazzling human-sized dragons. A werewolf walks up to you and hands you a business card – careful, don’t take it, you could find yourself kicked out of the Metaverse and your computer destroyed. Viruses are easy to spread, especially since so few people take the time to shore up their defenses. In fact, there was a bit of a scare awhile back about a virus that not only caused your computer to crash, but your brain as well. Over there is the office of the man who prevented that virus from taking out almost the entire population of hackers. The threat isn’t gone, however; Hiro Protagonist Security Associates have their hands full fighting each new version of this virus. The virus evolves so fast that they suspect someone is behind the scenes, using the virus for some unknown plot. And HPSA can’t be everywhere at once; hackers are falling to the wayside. Unless the person behind the most recent outbreaks is found, all hackers will soon become victims of Snow Crash.
Alright, signups are here! The events of this phalla take place after the book, so there will likely be spoilers at some point. Only a few of the characters in the book will have roles in this phalla, and none of the people who are obviously bad or obviously good. So no, you will not get to be Hiro or YT.
I'll be taking 60 people, no more, no less. Hopefully this is plenty of space for all the people who were interested in it.

It's a traditional game with some added stuff. You'll switch from the Metaverse to the Real World, and there's some other stuff, but all the good guys have the same win condition.
This isn't a faction phalla, like Night Watch.
So, I dunno, 8 is probably a good estimate.
