I'm from Illinois so I have seen bad weather and bad roads, but here, in the richer part of the Dallas area, these are the worst iced up roads I have ever seen.
They did nothing! Not even a light salting on the main roads! The roads are all covered in glossy, smooth ice, I was questioning if my little car could make it up gentle slopes because of how slippery it was.
They likely don't own any salt trucks because these freezes were rare in Texas.
Yeah. Though it should be noted that even in MN we can get ice storms bad enough to shut down the major highways for a day.
