Tropico 3, the revolutionary (heh) dictatorship simulator shall rise up next month and destroy your corrupt capitalistic system by making you buy it!
Viva El Presidente!(that means you)
In the game, you get to make your very own little despotic ruler of a small island nation. After you decide just how awesome you want yourself to be, you go out into the world!
Will you accept money from the pig dog americans, and turn your country into a decadent gambling resort?
Or maybe you'll ally yourself with the USSR, and build up collective farms and manufacturing centers?
How will you address the religious needs of the people? Will you woo the Vatican, hoping to get a papal visit, or will God be banned from paradise while you construct a Marxist heaven?
And what of the children, the revolutionaries of tomorrow? Will you leave them as uneducated plebes, toiling in your factories and plantations, or will you construct schools and universities, so the intellectuals will be on you side?
The Revolution Is Everywhere!
Already, cells of compatriots and brothers in arms are massing up to take back what is rightfully theirs on the PC and Xbox 360 come
Liberation Day, the 16th of October. But you can strike back at the oppressors even now, by downloading the
Tropico 3 Demo! And by playing it!
And Finally, Remember!

love these games
we also talk about other random shit and clown upon each other
It doesn't matter if its Tropico, Pharoah, Caesar or whatever. I usually fail within a few months/years and never have any idea what I'm doing wrong.

COMMUNISM IS A LIE

How do you fail at Caesar.
Just go slowly.
Slowly
Only build the farms you need. Only build the fire protection/engineering posts you need. Only build the industry you can support, and focus first on economic boosting trade. Only expand your city when you can support it.
don't try to build an awesome city full of super. Build up.
come on
say it
we can all see you want to
Gonna play this demo though
2 hours to download?
There is an option for a female dictator, right!?
There seems to be, from the screenshots
the demo installer fucking hates user account control, so turn that off before you run it
You can use one of the female templates (like Evita) or you can create a personalized one yourself.
It seems to go quicker than the older ones, and it's more difficult to overstretch yourself.
And yes
you can play as Eva Peron
'fraid not.
I was too busy making a handsome, dark skinned man with problematic predilections for women and wine to look at the custom female stuff
stop stealing my Augustine Miramba
what's that? the banana company wants to give us a grant to improve conditions on the island? just make the check out to "cash," thanks, I'll take care of everything.
We Sell Produce And Collapse Governments
the nerve!
:whistle:you load sixteen tons, what do you get:whistle:
also the music in this is totally boss
you can probably guess from there
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7
Processor: CPU with 2.5 GHz
Memory: 1 GB RAM Hard
Video Card: 128 MB 3D Graphic Card
Sound Card: 16-bit Sound Card
1.1 gigs
Unfortunately, I'm having graphics troubles here - specifically, nothing shows up
I can't see buildings or people, or the custom avatar I'm trying to create, and even things like trees can only be seen when I'm zoomed waaaay out
what kinda vidya card you got?
it seems like it includes basically all the graphical assets from the full version excepting the other island models
(of which there are a lot, judging by the mission selection screen)
Jeez, it's whatever came standard on this laptop; hold on, I'll check
I don't think they have their cross-platform support quite ironed out yet
still
update yo drivers
Did the first one as a French leftist intellectual who came to the islands with the goal of making them into a socialistic paradise, and barely made it to the end - spent the last three or four years 10,000 in debt. Did the second one as a jingoistic, fiercely nationalistic war hero who was willing to do anything necessary for the good of his , and with the exception of one rebel outbreak did really well with crazy amounts of money and all my needs met.
so it's nice to see this game is realistic
I would totally buy this if it was an option! dang
The Revolution will have to start tomorrow
How does this game compare to Tropico 1?
also nice download link, I'm getting 950 kb/sec
lost money VERY fast, even with grants from the US, people setting up shacks so i tried to build them some apartments and houses and the construction dudes aren't going to do the jobs
